I am a transplanted Easterner, now in the Midwest. An educator by profession, I am now retired. I am married with three grown children, and three grandchildren. I also have a granddog, of whom I have joint custody. She is my best buddy.
I came to Christ in my early twenties. My mother was a Christian, and during that time she always talked to me about becoming a real Christian, as opposed to just going to church on Sundays.
During this time, I was very interested in anything that was spiritual. I read books about all different types of religions. I also read about mystical things, and psychic topics. My mom gave me a copy of the Bible as a gift. She inscribed it with a personal message. I decided to read Revelations. That did it. Honestly, the first thing that happened to me was that I experienced the fear of the Lord. I have grown since then, and I still have and read the Bible my mom gave me.
