I don't really like speaking of myself so I will keep it short.
I am married to a wonderful Christian man who has taught me so much on our walk together as man and wife. He calls me his proverbial wife which often makes me blush but because of my love for him and Christ I try to live up to just that. We have 2 beautiful children that the Lord has blessed us with, I am a stay at home mom. I have live the corporate life and now the most importent thing to me is my husband and children not the next deadline or promotion and I cannot tell you how freeing that is.
We live in a small town, you know the kind the one where everyone knows everyone and I love it. We have a small farm with lots of animals and are trying our best to give our children the best possible start to life and that is one that starts with Jesus.
My name is Christine and I came to Christ over 6 years ago, am I there yet ... No but everyday I pray that I will do better that I will become more Christ-like and that my walk with Him will get closer. I have learned alot on my road, like He has never left me. Even in the darkest of my life, even when I was so filled with sin that I could not even love myself He was there reaching for me and whispering love into me. I ran from Christ for a very long time, I convinced myself or better yet the devil convinced me that I was to far gone for anyone to love me or even forgive me. That devil can be cunning and he had far to much power over my life. But then the day came when I had been depressed, lost, I had just made a mess of things on my own. The Holy Spirit reached down into that darkness and stirred something inside of me, I was listening to the radio at the time driving down the highway, and I yelled out God if this is really you and you are real the next song on this station will be 'I can only imagine'. And the very next song was exactly that, the miracle was that this station NEVER played anything remotely Christian. I pulled off to the side of the road, broke down, and ask Jesus into my life right there.
The road isn't always easy but the love that I am filled with makes it worth it. I have been writing for over 10 years now and recently I made a promise to the Lord that if He gave me the words that I would write them and I would follow His leading and share them with others. So this is my promise to you, if you read my blog the Holy Spirit has lead you to it and the Holy Spirit filled me to write what you are seeing.
