	“Christian moms unite!” My Nickname is: devinemommie I am feeling... determined I am a female and am 29 years old! My Biography: I recently created a new website called Devine Mommies . I created it because I keep hearing the same kinds if comments from other women. Comments like how to balance work and family, how hard being a stay at home mom is, how lonely women feel, and how to keep your faith these days. I believe that the bible is our guide and we have to navigate. That is why we have free will. I think that as women we need to help each other navigate a little. We all have the same basic issues. We need to act like the christian women we are and start caring for others around us. Help them, even the ones we think aren't worthy of help. Everyone is worthy of forgiveness and help. As a young mother of four I have daily struggles. But the more I put myself out there and give others access to me I realize, basically we are all the same. Life is too short to worry about all the little things. Its allot more fun if you share it with others and share your faith. About me: I am a 28 year old mom of four. My husband and I live in Texas and attend Prince of Peace. I like to read, ride bikes with my kids, and stay busy with kid stuff mostly. I have seen just about every kid movie put out in the last 10 years and only about a dozen others. I am a music junky. Mostly I just love the life that God has given me! My Testimony: I was raised in church and my grandfather is a minister. We went to revivals every summer when we stayed with him. Christ was introduced to me very early in my life but I didn't really have a realtionship with him until my early 20's. This is when I realized that I was just kinda a "floating" christian. I went to church every Sunday, sat in the same pew, had a good amount of knowledge about the bible, thanks to Sunday School. But I really wasn't appyling it in my life. When I was about 24 I had moved oversees with my spouse who was in the USAF. Somethings in my life were bothering me and I was questioning my life. I was lonely and overwhelmed with three small children. My husband worked wierd hours and I had no support. It was hard to make friends and I felt alone. I began to attend the base chapel and it helped. I started noticing allot of people, myself included, were not looking to God for anything really. We were going to church to fulfill an obligation, to make oursleves feel better, or to use it as a social club. Fellowship is essential in our walk with Christ but we shouldn't be going to church to show off our new clothes, talk to sue, or find out the latest gossip. We should go to worship christ. This was the first time I had really thought about it. It bothered me to think that I was using church as my outlet to the world, not as my outlet to christ. I believe that going to church should be like taking a car to the gas station to refuel. We should go to church to refuel our souls.
