I am a
married male and am 42 years old!
My Biography:
God is my everything. I am on his potters wheel and I hope to be the kind of vessel that he can use. I beleive in the whole bible. I do not like to leave anything out and I truly beleive that if it is in there God wanted it there for us. More than anything I want a closer walk with my Lord Jesus. I grew up in many different religions, I would follow my mom as she went to different religions. When I was on my own I bounced around some and even went to some that were not founded in the word of God. The first church I remember going to was Catholic, after that was Baptist, Methodist, Jehovah Witness, Lutheran, Non Denominational, Mormon, even Bhudism, not necessarily in that order and I dont know if I remembered all of them, now I am an Apostolic Pentecostal. But it doesnt matter what name or religion you want to call yourself, and I will tell you why. I do not need religion, I need Jesus. It doesnt matter to me what name is on the sign in front of the building, what matters to me is that they preach the Unwatered down TRUE Word of God. We can debate interpretations on prophecy of the end times or what not, but the bible is very clear on steps to salvation. The bible says you must be born of the water and the Spirit. EVERY baptism recorded in the bible after the ressurection of Jesus was done saying the words in the name of Jesus, not in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. The name of the Father is Jesus, the name of the Son is Jesus, the name of the Holy Ghost is Jesus, read my blogs for scriptiures that back this up. The bible says there is none other name under heaven whereby we must be saved, it also says ALL power is given to that name. Baptism is not a work it is obedience to the word, working in a soup kitchen is a work (besides faith without works is dead (James) and revelations says you will be judged on works.. You are not saved by baptism alone, but it is required for salvation (water and spirit). Speaking in tongues is the sign of the baptism of the Holy Ghost, it is in the bible. God created Heaven and Earth He is the only true God, yet many people do not believe there would be an outward sign when He comes to dwell in you. He can speak whole universes into creation but cant give the utterance to speak in tongues?
My Testimony:
Jesus saved me from my sins, now I try my best to stay on the path that he has set before me. I want his will to be accomplished in my life. Jesus is Lord, he is my rock, comforter, everlasting father, God, strength, saviour, and my whole reason for existing. I am not perfect but because of his blood I am saved. I came to God when I was about 21 or 22. I grew up in a religious family and even asked God to be my personal saviour when I was younger probably around 13. but without the Holy Ghost in my soul, guiding me, teaching me, ministering to me, comforting me, or to quicken me, I wasnt saved (Romans 8:11). When I really came to God was about at 21 or 22 years of age, but this time I learned what the bible said about how to be saved. I now believe the WHOLE bible, all of Gods word is true and does not contradict itself (read my blogs for more information on this). it is still for us today. Praise God!
I would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. You can not claim ignorance on Judgment day (read my blogs for scripture that will back that up).
