if you are referring to the word "amen"- the many definitiions of this word in Strongs' include truly, verily, so be it and I am in agreement. this word is not to implore but to agree, but, if you don't know that... you will use it as a question.
When we pray, we are presenting petitions or asking questions or seeking.. agreement with Father God with our declarations (as some prayers are declarations) and we need to demonstrate our agreement with the words we spoke when we're through praying... we NEED to agree with God and Declare our intentions in prayer and this is just as important as being sure we make our petitions to the Father, IN Jesus' Name, in accordance to what is written in the Word...
AMEN.

Is it "Pray?" Because I'm Pentecostal too, but I tend to over-use AMEN, rather than pray. :D I do also tend to overuse Hallelujah (which is more than 4 letters), or PRAISE GOD (which comprises two words). :D
God Bless,
