Today is the start of the rest of our lives.
It doesn't matter who we are, where we have been, what we have done, each day is a new day. No matter how afraid of the future we are, how daunting it seems, we can trust in Jesus to help us every step of the way. The future looks great when we turn our focus to God and remember it is all about him and not us. I apologise for always talking about me. I am so selfish. The things I want to do I don't and the things I shouldn't do I do. I am a bit like Paul. I am so looking forward to Heaven it will be great, no more starving children, pain, crying. I have two ears to listen and one mouth so i should be listening twice as much as I speak. Jesus is fantastic and heaven exists I know 100%. So as this is under the category of apologetics lets look at this. Apologetics is defending your faith. How can we defend our faith in a world that is ever changing. Where multi faith and same sex relationships seem to be the norm. If we go along with the norm and accept what is happening we will eventually accept it as not sinful. Like the first biscuit you stole as a child you felt guilty, but then it became the norm to just keep taking them, and eventually the guilt of your conscience has gone. We have to be very careful not to compromise our beliefs to fit in to society. We can challenge everyone who comes into our path and ask them to think about what was acceptable to them 10 years ago, or 20 years ago and how they have become adjusted to the sin and if they now think it is acceptable for ministers to be practising homosexuals. I can't seem to adjust to that way of thinking, and I hope I never do.
I should have done a structure and planned this but I couldn't get adjusted to it so sorry. I just am so desperate to get enough blogs to get my youtube on here.
