Join me in my journey to freedom from Meth addiction

Hi my name is Joe. I'm 22 years old from toronto canada. This is my first time in the world of Blogging. I am a christian and I am a meth addict. I know that there is no such thing as a Christian Drug Addict and I also know that God does not desire for me to keep doing this. I have tried to quit many times but i slip back every single time so I must be doing something wrong. I also have pleaded to God to take away my desire for the drug but I still find myself wanting it. I am fully aware that GOD IS ABLE and has already victory over ALL sin but somehow I am still here in this dark place. I will try to post every single day and tell of my battles with God against this "thing" inside me. One more reason for my joining up is to plead to all of God's people here to pray for me and to pray with me against my Giant. God will be glorified in this victory. I look forward to advice, rebuke, encouragement, and the like from you guys. thanks.

Wouldn't it be great of we had a "delete" button we could punch and just erase our problems. Addictions come in all forms and many people just don't recognize their own. Perhaps the best thing we can do in dealing with them is first - continue to earnestly ask God to remove them and second - distance ourselves from anyone who facilitates our addiction. Spend time in God's word and accept the fact that He has better things in store for you. Sometimes those who have experienced and conquered the greatest battles, become the greatst warriors for our faith. Never give up. In Christ all things are possible. God bless you.

I will pray for you my brother. As many people say the Lord's prayer (actually our prayer to God) I would like to share with you a prayer that I try and read every day. This is an emotional prayer from Jesus to the father.

It's located in John 17:1-26. The beauty of it pales in comparison to the father and the son. May God give you the understanding to fight your addiction so you can follow Him according to His will.

Amen.

Brother in Christ,

Christiaan

Hello Joe, I will pray for you as well. I also encourage you to check yourself into a detox program or better still, a Christian drug recovery program. The only one I can think of right now in Toronto, is The Young Street Mission. You should also confide with strong men of God in your church and ask them to uphold you in prayer and to held you accountable.

Hi! If you go to the poem section.

My son got this poem from his Police group of them showing What? this drug really does to a person and how? harmful it really is, and how? it is ruining your life for the future.

It is a beautiful poem and I believe it is true what? it says. It is about the drug you are addicted to.

However! you may need continual uplifting prayer, about this situation you are in because you seem like you are already addicted to it maybe get your church leaders to help fast for you to be released from this drug.

But if only you can know all the damage this "P" does after the poem you read.

I was addicted to smoking? God actually told me to give it up. I was smoking for years, and years I said to God how? do you expect me to give it up I love smokes more than man that is how? addicted I was to smoking. He told me to do a fast, I did and am finally realised have not smoked for over 10yrs even longer than that. Praise the Lord.

However he may have a different answer for you to release yours, but you do need help for this situation.

Love your sister in Christ.
