I agree fervently. I live in America, and I see kids getting more and more lost as time goes by. They seem to need more than I did. They all seem like they don't answer to anyone but themselves. Their teachers make sense to them and they don't. The more kids see of God the better, and the less repitition of the same thing the better. They need to know that God is real, and calling them to be holy. Not that being a virgin and not doing drugs is the right thing or the cool thing. But that it is a real thing to be holy, a real thing to be without sin. When I was a kid, I was lucky to have good people to look up to, and I questioned things without cutting them down. Kids need good Christian role models and Christian role models that make it real in childlike ways. I've never been a father, so I don't know what it's like to have to raise a child, but that's what I think they need.

I was a desperate teen myself but thankfully God called me out of darkness. He is so great. I would still love to have a mentor, a nonfamily member, who is living the life that I want to be living when I am their age. I have been praying to God for such a person in my life. A woman I could meet with once a week and talk to, someone to call on the phone, someone older than me and very spiritually mature, someone married with children (just as I would love to have in the future.) Please pray I find such a mentor! Thank you.

This is and always will be a battle. It is spiritual warfare. Parents must take responsibility. The enemy is extremely powerful, creative, and flexible. But the followers of Christ have a greater souce of strength - the truth of Christ. This source gives us the weapons of faith, hope, and most of all love. Is there anything stronger, anything truer? So this is the message we must spread - by the way we live and the way we love.
