The question was, is and remains; why can't we all get along?
The "limited" power of the enemy is not greater than God's unlimited power

Christian is now a generic term

The title Christian floating around the ether has really lost all meaning. What Christian meant at one time is no longer the case. Virtually any group no matter the teaching, doctrine or whatever their belief system can appropriate the word Christian as part of their title and those that were once called Christians cannot object. There is no official standard of what a Christian is supposed to be or believe or how they are to act, except the bible and who believes that? So it really is the Christians themselves who are to blame. What they could have done to prevent this I don't know. I don't think copywrite laws would apply. A denomination can to an extent protect themselves and set certain standards for belief and actions but then the denomination or its leadership can get weird and not truly be "Christian", so the people that disagree with their weird leadership have to leave and form another denomination and on it goes. Those denominations that have a congregationalist government have even more problems because the congregation can get weird and then what? The problem may solve itself if persecution really gets bad then those that are not seriously committed to Christ will very quickly drop the name and become whatever they need to become, to survive. Its a little like the wolf principle. You take your average reindeer herd, given the chance they will allow themselves to get pretty fat and sloppy and stop acting the way a good reindeer needs to act, if there aren't enough wolves around to keep them on their pointy little hooves. Wolves pretty much keep the sick, lame and lazy weeded out of the herd and motivate the rest to be real reindeer. Persecution seems to work along the same lines. Unless a person is really committed to the Lord Jesus and believes what the bible tells him or her they are not likely to put their jobs, or education or lives on the line for something no one else considers of any value. The unsaved will quickly find some other way to socialize than hang around with a bunch of losers that only seem to want to be put upon. Frankly the world already looks at Christians as a bunch of losers. The weak that need to believe a fairy tale about life everlasting to endure this present evil age. That's me. Bring on the wolves.

I notice some blogs are gone. If a person repeats what some teach, and then tells what scripture says about that teaching, that is somehow bashing I guess.

Christian means Christlike. They love Him, they abide in Him. Scripture says that too. And tells us what those who do not really are. Appreciate your honesty brother, regardless. Nothing gets erased with God, on both sides. If it walks like a duck ...

God bless brother.
