You O Lord keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. (New International Version) - Psalm 18:28

He sat in his chair in the corner. He could not stop crying . He feared the thoughts of his own mind and he had toyed with the idea that at least if he was no longer "around" then the pain would stop.

Yet he stayed, he clung on and he asked the question to his pastor. "why did I dismiss the thoughts of suicide when I wanted the pain to end ? . The answer was simple

You O Lord keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. (New International Version) - Psalm 18:28

It was, and is God alone who keeps our faith burning. It is God and God alone who turns our darkness into light. When we claim Him as "My God", He will bring light to dispel the blackness.

The man was of dust, unable to do it himself, but His Lord, His God.. He can do it.
