Happy times in my ministry life.
For the first half of 2009, I have the opportunity to minister in various places in the US and in Central and South America. For starters, sometime in February, I will be traveling to Guatemala to work with a Christian school in Huehuetenango. The school is owned by the guy that my sports ministry team this past summer stayed with when we visited Huehue. I have no idea at the moment how long I will be down there or what I will be doing, although I have to be back around Feb. 25 because of my next trip, but as of yet, I could spend a month or only a week there. However, I am trying to raise $1,000 for the plane ticket and any possible living expenses that are needed while I am down there.
After Guatemala, I will be flying out on Feb. 27 to Anapolis, Brazil to work with a missionary training organization teaching english to some missionaries there. I will be spending 3 months down there teaching english and doing various work around the place where I will be staying, and the cost of the entire trip will be around $2,000.
I will be flying back from Brazil on about June 1, and then flying out to Oklahoma on about June 5 to start a 2 month tour of the US and another foreign country running some Christian sports camps, the same thing that I did last summer, through an organization called Uncharted Waters. The support that I need to raise for this summer mission excursion is around $2,000.
Altogether, I will need to raise about $5,000 total of support for the three trips, so any prayer support that I can receive will be greatly appreciated. I'm going to keep on updating my blog and continue posting information updating what is going on with the various ministries this year, and also posting pictures up, too.
In Christ,
Adam
