Simplify Your Biblical Time-line.
Soul instruction on perspective.
There are several gaps in the flow of text (when reading from Genesis to Revelation) that impact us in Biblical proportions. It is not so much the "gap" between certain flows of text as it is a parentheses in time or dimension which should be our concern. They must be taken into consideration for one to "rightly divide the Word of Truth".
First, Genesis is not the oldest book of the Bible, and so a chronological reading and study of the Bible is worth the time.
Second, to not recognize that Genesis 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 are separate events and that they contain a parentheses of time; is to ever be defending yourself against the latest finds in the latest digs, or to maintain that evening and morning is more than a 24 hour period of time - a very awkward stance.
Third, in Daniel's 70 week prophecy there is a parentheses of time between the 69th and 70th week which is an entire Biblical dispensation. From March 14, 445 B.C. to April 6, 32 A.D. is exactly 69 sevens to the day - from the command to restore Jerusalem to the coming Prince to be cut off (on the foal of an ass).
Fourth, the consecutive numbered events of the 70th week in Revelation are interjected by many parenthetical events in heaven, especially between the events numbered 6 and 7.
Finally, (in this sketch and by no means exhaustive) consider that there is another entire dispensation of a thousand years between the resurrection of the righteous and the resurrection of the wicked. (Daniel 12:2. Revelation 20:5).
The whole sum of the times of man (as penned by the Bible) is itself just a "gap", parentheses of time, and parallel dimension, between eternity past and the promised-predicted-revealed ages of the eternal future.
You greeted a man and asked him, "How is it going?". He said, "Just another day in paradise". You responded "yes, just another day in eternity with eternal life".
Good. So be it.
