Ok, I've been thinking again... lately there has been too much focus on trying to change minds, especially here on the blog. What we should be focusing on is changing the spiritual atmosphere in our spheres of influence!

Right now someone's saying...'what?'

You heard me, we should be taking all that intense passionate energy and focus it with our faith and change our situations we can, y'know. Mark 11:23 tells us we have what we say.
Now if we take that at face value, and we should... after all, everything in our lives started with a word, and the Word spoken from God. Read Genesis 1. Ten times God said- and something happened.
And since we are made in his image and likeness, we should be doing as He does.. and speaking to our circumstances...

Confess the Word and change your life!


Our mouths can be either thermometers, reporting on the current spiritual temperature and not expecting any change... or whining. Or, our mouths can be thermostats, A thermostat records the current temperature, but also contains a complex little circuit board and switches and can change the atmospere or climate, and change your situation!
We don't think about how long it takes for the thermostat to work, (unless it's not working properly- and I'll get to that in a minute) we just set the temperature and forget it until the change happens, because we trust that the change will happen. Any and every time we speak words of doubt, we are speaking words of distrust.

This, my friends is the same attitude that we have to take with confessing and believing the Word of God, no matter what the situation! Want deliverance for a family member?

Well, look up what the Word says about the situation and confess that word over your loved ones, and just like that thermostat will change the atmosphere in your house over time, you loved one WILL come to the Lord.

This principle holds true for every area of our lives, whatever is missing, whatever is broken, out of whack, out of alignment, out of sequence...,we must confess the Word.

Let's say you've been waiting a while, a long while, days, weeks years what happened you say? is the thermostat working? I'm not getting the results I want!

Well... let's examine why the situation hasn't changed. Is the Word broken? No. Welll, what could it be? What are you confessing? Are you in agreement with God? (That's important, Amos 3:3 tells us that for two to walk together they should be in agreement)

Is your heart right? Faith works by love, and by love, I'm talking agape the selfless love that seeks the best for others, the kind God has for us.

Do you have an expectation that something Goood will happen because your God is the Almighty God? We should be pregnant with expectation of good things from God because He is good! He looks for people to do good for! Just as David found Mephibosheth, 2 Sam.9:1-12 God is looking for those walking upright before Him to bless them. With what? Whatever their hearts desire, as long as it lines up with the Word!
Psalm 37:4

Our God is a righteous and Just God and like a good parent, He loves doing things for His well behaved, obedient children!
