Clouds And The Presence Of God

Ok So I don't know how many people this will directly apply to because the Lord showed me revelation about my city but the main message of it is the same. He gave me this revelation a few weeks ago and then recently He gave me part 2 which connects. I was led to share it with you so I will post part 2 as the first comment on the blog. =]

I truly believe that God is going to bring revival and awakening to Federal Way. I believe God is changing things around. He's doing new things. His Spirit is moving in and through us. He is calling His army. He's raising up His army and His mighty warriors. Who are His mighty warriors you ask? The people of God. Not the strong, the people always on spiritual highs, the people who "don't need God's help because they can handle it on their own." No, the warriors are us. The people who have fallen short of the glory but have been redeemed by God. Those who know they have broken lives but desperately pursue God. The ones who trust in God for their strength and for every victory give God the glory.

The other night God showed me a really awesome vision.
There was a dark cloud covering the city of federal way, looked like a dark rain cloud. Kinda like when Elijah prophesied the coming of a heavy rain. (1 Kings 18:41-48)
It covered all of Federal Way starting at the super motel 8. Then the city lit up. (the cloud's still there) but not natural lights. Not like city lights but God's presence lighting up the city.

I then heard "I am bringing revival to Federal Way. I am bringing revival to Northwest Church. Hearts have been dry and seeking but now I am coming in a mighty flood, I am pouring out My Spirit all over the city of Federal Way. Hearts will return to Me and families will be restored."

The cloud represents God's presence and protection over us.

Take this for what it is, reject it or believe it I'm convinced that God wants to do these things.

But He's not going to just do these things He's going to do them on behalf our prayers so it's time we take a stand and start praying. Start asking and receiving in faith the promises of God. For God said "Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7)

and He also said "Or what man is there of you, if his son asks him for a loaf of bread, will hand him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will hand him a serpent?
If you then, who are evil, know how to give good and ]advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in heaven [perfect as He is] give good and wonderful things to those who keep on asking Him! (Matthew 7:9-11)

If you desire restoration for your families and your friendships just ask! And keep on asking. Going back to when Elijah prayed for rain. He asked God 7 times for it to rain. Each time his servant came back to him and reported that there was no rain. Elijah kept praying.

It came about at the seventh time, that he said, "Behold, a cloud as small as a man's hand is coming up from the sea." And he said, "Go up, say to Ahab, 'Prepare your chariot and go down, so that the heavy shower does not stop you.'"
(1 Kings 18:44)

So persistency is important when praying. Don't give when you don't receive your answer right away. God answers your prayers as soon as you pray them but there's spiritual warfare going on. The enemy tries to stop God's promises from coming. So keep on praying and keep on asking. Whatever it is you seek from the Lord He will give you. As long as it lines up with his will. So just because you ask for a new car doesn't always mean you're going to get it. Keep in mind that God knows what you want and what you need. He doesn't always give us what we want. But always provide what we need.

So don't lose hope when it feels like your prayers aren't being answered cause they are. You just have to keep praying.

If you want to see your friends and family come to know the love of Christ then pray for them! Keep on praying and keep on asking!

As I said before, take this word for what it is. If you believe it, if you reject it. but I believe that this is the Lord's will.

Incense of Worship

Friday night at IHOP (The International House Of Prayer) God showed me a vision that led up to the cloud explained in part one.

But first background info. Our prayers are like sweet incense to the Lord. He loves to hear our prayers and our praises. He loves to hear our voice. As we worship a cloud of worship, a cloud of incense forms. We have to continually throw our incense into the fire of the altar. (the glory of God is like a fire) Constantly refresh our spirits at His altar. And as we throw our incense onto the fire a cloud forms. That cloud becomes God's spiritual covering over us because we all know if He released the fullness of His glory now we would all die. His glory in its fullness is too much for these fleshy broken bodies. We would all die in an instant if God were to show all of His glory. So our worship is incense to Him which forms a cloud of covering in which He pours out His Spirit over us so we won't die. (Leviticus 16:2)

So now the vision:

Incense being thrown onto the fire
Throwing the incense on the fire
Throwing the promises into the fire of God
A cloud begins to form
The dark cloud gets bigger and bigger
As we continue to pray and press in
As the Spirit of God stirs in our hearts
As we worship as we pray
The cloud becomes our covering (as explained above.)
That cloud then becomes the cloud covering the city of federal way (as explained in part 1)
The winds start blowing (Read my note Holy Storm)
Sweet smelling incense surrounds the city
The cloud starts to pour out rain (See note Holy Storm)
The winds start blowing harder
The sign of a storm is coming
If we don't prepare for His glory
It will consume us
Just like if you don't prepare for a major storm it will consume you (Again See note Holy Storm)
He is pouring out his mercy upon all of us
His blood covers all of us.

The incense of our worship becomes the cloud that brings the rain.
We have to prepare our hearts for His glory
Prepare our hearts for His fire to fall
Prepare our hearts for a major storm
It's coming,
Are you ready?

Refine your faith in the fire of God
Pour out all your oil
It's not too late to follow Him
Keep the fire burning
Keep the incense rising
He's coming
A Holy storm is coming
God is bringing His presence and His revival
To the cities that pray and earnestly seek first His kingdom
Who are literally willing to give EVERYTHING for the glory of God
To follow Him no matter what it takes.

When the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
Another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, so that he might add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne.
The smoke of the incense, mixed with the prayers of God's holy people, ascended up to God from the altar where the angel had poured them out. Then the angel filled the incense burner with fire from the altar and threw it down upon the earth; and thunder crashed, lightning flashed, and there was a terrible earthquake.
Revelation 8:1-4

The LORD said to Moses, "Warn your brother, Aaron, not to enter the Most Holy Place behind the inner curtain whenever he chooses; if he does, he will die. For the Ark's cover--the place of atonement--is there, and I myself am present in the cloud above the atonement cover.
Leviticus 16:2
