Love will be my story,
Grace will be my song,
Mercy will be my reason,
Praise will be my life,
Joy will be my strength.
No more shame,
Brokenness or pain,
The past has been washed away,
I’ve been redeemed,
Given a new life,
My Savior rescued me.
Hope will be my Light,
Light will be my Truth,
Truth will be my freedom,
Freedom will be my song,
My song will be Jesus Christ.

Jesus rescued me.
He is my Hope,
He is my Strength,
He is my joy,
He truly is my everything.
He has set me free,
Broken my chains,
Healed my heart,
Taken my shame away,
Now all I want,
Is Him,
All I want to do,
Is praise Him,
Praise His Holy Name.
He has given me life,
He is my life,
He is the source of Life,
I am committed to Him,
I willingly surrender my heart to Him,
I find no greater joy,
No greater passion,
Than serving Him alone.

I don’t know how,
But He rescued me,
I was broken,
Until He came into my life,
And set me free,
His love is unconditional,
My past He’s forgotten and forgiven,
I’m not the same,
Jesus changed my life.
I’ve got my doubts,
Fears and sorrows,
Pain and brokenness too,
But God has been faithful to me,
He’s held me in His,
He has been my shoulder to cry on,
I love Him,
Because He first loved me,
He found me,
He lifted me out of the pit of despair,
That I had gotten myself into.
Now there is,
No more shame,
Brokenness or pain,
The past has been washed away,
I’ve been redeemed,

Wrapped up in chains,
And now…
Love is my story,

My song is because of Jesus Christ,
His love has been, is, and always will be,
Everything to me,
