Two New BBCode Methods For Images

Hello Everybody,

Today we are introducing two (2) new BBCode methods to aid in the inclusion of images/photographs within your published content.

We have, since we started using BBCode, always had the ability to use [ image=left ] and [ image=right ] but we decided to simplify this a bit by adding: [ imageleft ] and [ imageright ]

The [ image=left/right ] BBCode will still work so any existing (and future) usages of it will not break.

These two new methods are simply designed to make the alignment a bit easier.

We have also slightly modified the methods of displaying the images and text-wrapping.

We feel this is about the best text-wrapping that is going to be possible.

Here are examples of the two new methods.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Mauris interdum cursus tempus. In hac habitasse platea dictumst. Nullam rhoncus nisi a metus aliquam molestie. Morbi ut velit at lectus dapibus pellentesque sit amet iaculis urna. Ut malesuada leo a sapien porttitor luctus euismod sapien consequat. Curabitur arcu lectus, vulputate vel rutrum quis, lobortis a turpis. Quisque lobortis tellus eget velit euismod adipiscing.

In Closing:

As you can see, both of these methods provide very clean image display with text-wrapping.

We encourage all of our members to switch to this new method - for no other reason than that it provides a much cleaner method of text-wrapping around the image/photograph.

Blessings,

How does one load, onto a blog in process, images from ones own gallery as BBC right or left (Not as an avitoar, but an illustration). It was explained sometime earlier, but I have lost that explanation. Could you tell or refer me? Thanks, milt
