DOING THINGS
No longer doing things because I have to,
But doing all things because I want to.
DIRT
Get down here,
In the dirt with me.
SPIRIT
The Spirit did yet tickle me,
And squeezed me in these prayers.
MOST DIFFICULT
The best things in my life have been the most difficult to come by.
The best thing in my life will be the most difficult as well.
God is hard.
JOB
Am I the Job that Satan spoke of?
Do I fear God for nothing?
SHALLOW
Search the depths of me,
And one will find the bottom quickly.
BEGINNER (AGAIN)
Again I was abruptly shown,
That I am only just a beginner.
And shown this countless times before,
Over and over, again and again.
May this process never end,
Let me be a little child a little longer,
Let me learn forever.
Lest I get too confident in myself,
And trust in me instead of God.
LOVE SUFFERS
What is love then?
Is it procuring and providing for?
Is it making someone comfortable?
Something given then at least.
Is it ever hard for the Lord to give?
What is true giving if not sacrifice?
What is sacrifice if not suffering?
What is the greatest sacrifice if not life?
Christ's sacrifice, the greatest giving love.
Is this not deeper meaning?
Is this not the deepest love?
Love must suffer.
