Surrounded By False Prophets

Who needs a false prophet?

I've seen a lot of things over my years in Church. I've heard outrageous things also. Teaching is run-a-muck. People will believe almost anything in some Churches and allow the most bizarre behaviors under the "Move of the Spirit." People can buy the strangest things when their heart is open to the fantastic. It's disgusting and there will be a payday.

Although this is true. The worst is not the misleading that goes on in those sort of so called Churches or the half-gospel message of "Believe and be saved." but what we do to ourselves.

Who needs a false prophet when the gospel and scriptures are so mishandled by each individual Bible reader. Remember the scripture Isa 53:6 "We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all."

Remember something about my righting. I'm writing not to the "Bad Christian." I wouldn't bother righting about them, it would be like beating a drunk bum. I'm talking about us, the ones who are the regulars: The "good" ones.

The scriptures are used for convenience. It has been our upbringing in the Church. I could give many examples and I have many examples in my blogs.

Here is a new one to illustrate my point. The other day I was speaking to a great Christian man, we will call him Ed. I think he is good in every way and a leader. I told him of a young man who has two kids and is now caring for two others not his own. He is poor but saw the need and jumped in.

My friend Ed said, "Wow, it is great he has a heart for those kids." I retorted "What?" "Are you kidding! What Christian wouldn't have a heart for them?" In amazement, with his eyes broad, I asked," Does Jesus have a heart for them? Do you have the Spirit of Christ?"

You get the point. But would you send them to Child Protective Services? What excuse would you use? Would you confess, I don't have a heart for them?

Where I live people know I will help. Whenever someone needs a place for a vagabond or even a Christian in need they call me. Why? Because I have a heart for them? No! No, I do not have a heart for them aside from Jesus. I want to reason "Why," like everyone else, why I can't or shouldn't help. But Jesus has a heart for them. All the people he created He loves and is just dying for us to quit discriminating.

Self-bias is rampant and each says in honey coated Christian jargon why they can do nothing. I would say if you do not have a heart for any one person, you do not have the heart of Christ. Enough selfish prophesies!

Who needs I false prophet? Look in the mirror.

If the shoe fits wear it. If you think it doesn't, be careful.

The views of many are predicting hard times, in regards to material things. Looks like things are about to start changing. There will be opportunity for sure.

'Prophet'. Most just blow right by the message they sounded. The Day of the Lord is coming. It will be a day to fear. Many, are gonna be ashamed. God looks for and moves when He sees true repentance. When He does not, His warnings are going to come to fruition. That is what we can be sure of. The order of those signs are arranged in ways that will please how many want them. They will happen just as foretold, and any arranging on mans part is moot.

My heart is for those who God has placed me among every day. Grown men. Who study and spend time on things of no real worth. They all have young children. What are they learning as they watch us live life everyday? Much more than what we say, and talk about on one day, or more, for a couple of hours, where-ever we gather to worship. They know how real that worship is. We spent the majority of our time and our money on what we loved most. And, our heart as well. God is not mocked.

God Bless brother. Keep doing.

Your right. I'm not excited about the grave challenges of the future. I know I'm weak and self-interested. I do not like pain and inconvenience anymore than anyone else.

Much more fruit will be produced through us through this I'm certain. In addition, the divide in the Church will grow and sheep and goats will distinguish themselves.

It maybe said that it would preferable. The role of De-evangelizing must be carried out, Grace to the humble and opposition to the proud.

The need to convince those in the church who will not be serious in Christ that they are invited to leave. And the remaining must be equipped for the hard work ahead.

The church will be a bright light again to the dieing World and the elect will see it and be beckoned.

I'm for the Church. I love her. It is our gift and salvation to the world.

Thank you billyb.

Love in Jesus!

Very convicting and compelling as usual Clifrad.
How right you are. We shouldn't be surprised at acts of charity and good will... this should be the norm.
Grace to you,
Vince

  Thank you.

Please understand me. I right boldly but I struggle here daily. I'm self-Interested, I do not want the challenge, I want to close my eyes.

But, I can't...I wouldn't know this love if not for Jesus. He is up to it, and drags us along. He is very brave, He isn't afraid of the cost. He scares me to what lengths He will go for love. If it only cost Him I could cheer Him from the sideline, our MMA gladiator...but He wants me in the ring. I love it. I hate it!

The love of Christ compels us like a hot iron blocking the way of retreat.

We fight together, we will fellowship with one another in this suffering for Christ.

In His Bold Love!

  Clifrad,

We all need to do our part in the church and seems you have found yours. Good convicting message.

You said a couple times in your comments above that "I'm self-interested, I do not want the challenge". My job in Christ is to encourage people to look forward to the challenges, the testing that God sends our way, because it is through these harder times that we are molded into His image and out of our own. I know you are going through challenges, and I praise God that you are. Keep up the good fight.

God bless,
Mike

  Mike,

Thanks. With this statement I'm leveling the playing field...thus "I'm just like you." My nature is the same of self-preservation and self-pleasure yet we overcome the natural.

I do not want anyone to think this is generated by a feeling but a responsibility. I do it in spite of my feelings. Thanks bud.
