It has been awhile since the Lord has given me anything to say and today he has put I John 4:1-3 upon my heart. "Beloved believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God; every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of anti-Christ, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already it is in the world" We are always going to be safe if we teach and preach the word because it is going to keep us out of err, from falling into it. For years my passion has been to warn the church of the infiltration of the New Age. Now we are seeing many ministries and major ministries espousing things that are not of the Lord but using New Age tactics to fill their pews. So the question is are we concerned about souls or are we concerned about numbers. What good are we doing if we have a church full of people who don't have a true grasp of the word? And do we have churches and ministries opening people up to the enemy instead of closing the doors on him? I will never forget years ago when I was visiting with a Pastor who told me his wife was into kick boxing and that he was bringing a kick boxing ring into his youth building. The look on my face must have said it all when he said, "What else can I do?" I wanted to say get on your face man and pray. I even wondered if this Pastor had even researched what he was doing and the origin of it and if he thought teaching violence was the way to go. Years ago when I was taking an ex-satanist through deliverance and a former witch they had both been trained in marital arts and violence for their craft. I continually had to teach them that the weapons of a Christian are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of the strongholds of the enemy. That we were to exercise ourselves in righteous and clean living, that we were to some out from among the world and be separate. Satan is very clever and cunning my friends and there have been many in the ministry and the church that have fell victim to his clever tactics. You know if you have ever read or watched on TV. Where one person poisoned another it was a slow process of death. The victim usually had a trusting relationship with the one who killed them and the killer slowly introduced the poison through food or drink and eventually the toxic levels arose to where it produced death in the individual if the plot was not uncovered. Usually at the beginning the effects were not felt as much but as the poison levels grew the victim had terrible bouts of sickness wondering what in the world is going on. I believe this is what we see happening in the church world today and many are ignorant and church doors are closing or suffering and wondering what is going on. Not long ago we had in Lakeland a so called revival happening and many were flocking to this place to receive a touch from the Lord but there were ungodly things taking place and many ended up suffering as a result. Many went running but I counseled many to watch and observe before entering in. Was this a true move of God well the results speak for themselves. Many want to confess Christ but in doing so are they speaking and preaching the truth and is the Spirit of the Lord in that place? No doubt we are living in the last days and we do not want to be deceived. The word says there will be many claiming to be Christ and many there are. Do not ever underestimate the power of deception my friends. The word tells us that even after Satan is unleashed after a thousand years of captivity there will still be many that follow him. Satan drew a third of the stars (angels) with him when he was cast out of heaven. These angels who dwelt in the presence of God Almighty himself. Eve was deceived and she and Adam walked with God. Walk carefully my friends, stay in the word and try the spirits. Be careful of those you hang with and watch out for each other for that is what real friends do. The word tells us that if we see a brother in error we who are spiritual are to gently warn them and guide them into truth. Well I love you and bless you in Jesus Name the name above all Names!
