Book of Life
Here's something that is so cool if you actually think about. Whenever I think about it it fills me with joy.
I was at youth group last night, and we watched a DVD of one of the speakers from a conference. He talked about how we shouldn't worry or be stressed out, and that those two were sins. He also said that Christians should have joy. He made an illustration. He pretended he had the Book of Life (you know, the book where all Christians names are written) in his hand. He said that if he let us ask him one question, no matter how sure we are about our faith, we would all ask if our name is written in the Book. He then said that we can have assurance and he read some scriptures that said something like if we believe that Christ died for our sins and confess with our mouths that God has raised him from the dead, we will be saved. If this is true, your name is written in the Book of Life! My name is written in the Book of Life! And do you know what the coolest thing is? It will never be taken out of the Book! Anyone written there will spend eternity in heaven with God! Isn't that awesome! If you have accepted Christ, stop doubting your salvation! Your name is written in the Book of Life and it can never be removed! Praise God!
