New Year
Being a creature of habit, I thought that I would do the usual for the first of January and look back over the last year.
Firstly My New Years resolutions were to:
1) To lose a little bit of weight
2) To be more patient
3) To be tidier
4) To pass my exams
5) To complete coursework asap
6) To relax and not worry so much
7) To enjoy life
Now interestingly, I haven't looked at those since this time last year! However, I seem to have completed all of them! The last couple of months I have been learning to have patience, God has really been helping me with this, and its comical that it was something I wished to do this time last year!!!!
What has been positive about the year?
1) I have been baptised
2) I have developed a deeper relationship with God
3) I have, and still am, trying my best to forgive people
4) I have gained patience
5) I have managed to see the best in most situations
6) I have learnt to SMILE!!!
What would I have changed?
1) My granny becoming ill
2) Arguments between me and family
3) Being too submissive
4) Not giving my all to God
And for next year...?
1) continue to serve the Lord
2) Be honest about my feelings
3) Try and give 110% to God
4) Pray and read the Bible more
5) Understand that God knows better than I do
6) Be a wonderful daughter, sister, auntie...etc...
7) To smile, and be positive!
A new Year- A New Start...I pray that God continues to guide me throughout the year!
God bless you all
