Our bible study at an end, for summer :(
I am sad. My Church bible study has come to an end, for summer. I was hoping Esther would keep going on forever, but it hasn't. I know things will pick up in the fall, they always do. It's just hard to let go of the women that I have come to love, share testimonies and prayers with. I will be thinking of them constantly, till we can gather again. I know I sound melancholy, and it's a little pathetic when I see them on sundays, it's just not the same sitting next to each other in a pew with our alliance to our husbands rather than studying the word of God around a table, enjoying snacks and each other's perspectives.
Not only that, our study of Esther was amazing. God had a personal word for each one of us, expecially for me. Each time, I opened my bible, the words flew off the page and dazzled me like a mile-wide field of irises and lilies. I was awestruck by God's wonderful providence in all of our lives, and how each one of us has a personal story written in heaven... . We all are little Esthers in our own ways, in our own communities and families and God has called all of us to do amazing work for him. We just have to believe, we just have to have faith, we just have to love our God and obedience falls into place, our story falls into place, and we will be the servant that God has made us to be.
living for Christ,
