In the midst of life
Have you ever heard the phrase in the midst of life there's death'? Well I have, one two many times, and quite frankly it has gotten me to think continuously about its irony. Listen to my case, now death is the end of life, right? Now, it is said, in the MIDST of life so that would mean in the middle or center of life there's death, yet death is still the END of life. It has dawned on me that it could also mean that the persons surrounding you are not totally enlightened by the facts of death, so when it creeps up on them, it gives them a scare because, remember they are in the middle of their living not expecting to lose anyone soon. It has also made me ponder the reality that death is so unexpected that is like it come while being the center of your living. Which is why it is said IN THE MIDST that highlights how little human knows about their lives, not being able to point out the middle from the end. The only thing left for me to say is THE END but is it really for all I know it could very well be the middle. Nah, it's the end!
