We all have the right to live our own lives and do whatever we please, however we must keep in mind that consequence is awaiting behind every action that we make. Consequence is not always bad as most of us may think. It depends solely on what you choose for the outcome.
The biggest problem that most people have is the M.I. (ME, I.) Virus. We must stop allowing ourselves to become infected with the M.I. Virus. Examples of the M.I. Virus are:
If it don't benefit ME then I don't care.
If I ain't getting mines, then I ain't doing it.
No one cares about ME or what I want.
I want this, or You make ME mad.
We have to understand that we were not created to serve ourselves. We were created to serve God so that God can bless us, then we can be a blessing to others such as our loved ones, our friends, our bosses, our co-workers, and so on.
We all have FREEDOM. Many of us misuse and take advantage of that freedom.
Freedom is a gift from God, not from man. We allow ourselves to be governed and controlled by freedom because of the lack of understanding.
Let's empathize on the freedom of speech. Many of us say anything to another person and thinks it's alright to just speak our minds. Our words can cause mental damage to others. Mental damage can and usually leads to physical damage to one's life.
What we allow to be spoken out of our mouths is a reflection of our hearts. What comes out of your mouth is what's in your heart. God judges us by what's in our hearts. When god looks at us, He is not looking at our past. He looks at our hearts. He sees what we have allowed to live inside of our hearts.
There are only two ways to live: live the way of God's word or live the way of the world, which is the of man.
The Way of God's Word
If you are living the way of God's word which is how the bible teaches us how we should live, then your heart will be filled with love, mercy, and forgiveness. Living by God's word protects us from danger and defeat. Kind words will never hesitate to come out of our mouths. The desire to give will never just be a thought. Forgiving others will never be hard. In fact it should never be an option to forgive. It should always be the only thing to do.
The Way of the World
The way of the world teaches us that we should give only when the time is right and to forgive whenever we feel that we are satisfied when the wrong doer has suffered pain. We are taught by the world that it's ok to speak your mind no matter how it affects other people. We are taught that vengeance is ok as long as it is done in a legal manner. We must learn that without understanding of God's word that the ways of man will fail every time.
It's time that we get our emotions under God's control. You can tell how big a person really is by what it takes to get him upset. We upset each other on a daily basis but the test is how you react to the situation. Behind every test is a promotion. When you learn how to change your approach toward things that causes us to get upset and angry, you will notice that getting mad never fixes the problem. Getting even never heals the pain. Vengeance never restores a broken heart. A change of heart is what changes your circumstances.
