Christmas is such a wonderful time. But we need not think of all it means to us just once a year. Today, June 28th, as we think about Who it was that was born that first Christmas Day; The One Who came to bring us Peace; The One Who came to show us The Father's Love; The One Who came to die for us on the cross that we might have forgiveness of sin...perhaps as we think about these things today, we will be a little more kind, patient, forgiving, and loving towards others. What Bright and shining Light.

In fact its at times like this away from the madness that has become christmas that we can really take time to savour the message of christmas without our minds being swamped with other things.
