20 Day Countdown

Mirë Dita! / Good Day!

I have 20 days left before I go on my mission trip to Kosova. There have been joyous times and also struggling times. Many in the team have been attacked in marriages and relationships etc. Still, we have to be happy because God provided ever dime we needed for this trip and the money keeps coming in. I actually prayed this after our team fasted for 2 days and met to pray. I prayed God would open the flood gates of heaven and pour out more than what we needed so we could bring an offering that would bless the people in Kosova. I'm not sure everyone else caught the same vision. I feel God blessed us with that extra money for that very reason, not to just have a big party on it when we get back.

Anyway, I am excited, yet I am struggling with the attacks coming at me from every side. Even my wife is being used to attack me. I see blessing as my manager came to our church through all this and many other blessings from God. Yet I am attacked almost daily by people around me. It is an emotional roller coaster.

I think if I could just get one good nights sleep it would help too. We have some new neighbors that moved in next door and they have two dogs that bark all the time. I am training them with a silent trainer I have that I used on my dogs. It pronounces a high pitched sound after a certain number of barks that stops the dogs from barking...most of the time. We also live a block away from na train track that goes through town. Let me tell you, those guys like to blow that horn at night time really long. Then the dogs next door start to haul at that. Oh the joy!

I know it will all be worth it, but it is taking a toll on some of us. Please keep us in your prayers as we go out to spread the Good News in a Muslim nation. Pray for our team and spouses: Pastor Lee & Udeen, Jason & Sarah, Darrell & Jan, Doug, Pat, and Nick. It is only by God's grace that we are able to do this. I have faith he will give us strength and wisdom and we will be used mightily in Kosova.

Oh, there goes the train again (0520) and the dogs! I hope they don't wake my wife.

I look forward to writing about my trip when I get back.

Zoti u bekoftë / God Bless You,

Father, I pray in Jesus Name, that You will protect this mission trip, send the team out anointed to bring glory to Your name and add many to Your household of faith as a result of this mission trip.

Dear Lord, as Your will is being acocmplished we know that the enemy is not pleased and in the name of Jesus and with His authority we bind every hindrance that would thwart the work that will bring glory and honour to the Lord. We pray that the peace of God will prevail in every household of each team member. Protect each member under Your precious blood, cause each one to pray as they have never prayed before and to be united in Your love with purpose to glorify You and support their family member(s) who is/are going on the mission trip. Provide for every need of each team member. We thank You for the financial resources that have been donated by Your people - may they be used carefully for the mission to accomplish its purpose. Lord give journey mercies to the team and prepare the way to and from the mission field. Please prepare the hearers of Your Word. Let Your Word be powerfully sent forth under Your anointing to bring deliverance and to set the captives free. Heal and draw hearts to yourself and where people have strayed, let them be reclaimed to serve You. Father, keep the team united and help them to put Your interest first ahead of self interest. Let Your peace prevail in every transaction and action. Be their Leader in all things. Thank You for being in control of everything and everybody who is involved in this mission trip. Bring glory to Your Name for we ask all and commit all into Your hands. Thank You Jesus for hearing our prayers and we will not forget to give You all the glory. Amen.
