Revelation 15...What Can I Say?

Revelation 15 is quite short, but still important.

Revelation 15:1 (NCV)
The Last Troubles
1 Then I saw another wonder in heaven that was great and amazing. There were seven angels bringing seven disasters. These are the last disasters, because after them, God's anger is finished.

We are nearing the end of God’s anger. Some will think this is good, but actually for some it will not be good.

Revelation 15:2–4 (NCV)
2 I saw what looked like a sea of glass mixed with fire. All of those who had won the victory over the beast and his idol and over the number of his name were standing by the sea of glass. They had harps that God had given them. 3 They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb:
"You do great and wonderful things, — Psalm 111:2
Lord God Almighty. — Amos 3:13
Everything the Lord does is right and true, — Psalm 145:17
King of the nations.
4 Everyone will respect you, Lord, — Jeremiah 10:7
and will honor you.
Only you are holy.
All the nations will come
and worship you, — Psalm 86:9–10
because the right things you have done
are now made known." — Deuteronomy 32:4

I have always wanted to play a musical instrument. These instruments will be given to us by God and we will not have to take lessons either. For those of us who cannot sing well, let’s just say we’ll blow American Idol out of the water. It will be at this time we will truly worship God and all He is. I better get started memorizing this song now.

Revelation 15:5–8 (NCV)
5 After this I saw that the temple (the Tent of the Agreement) in heaven was opened. 6 And the seven angels bringing the seven disasters came out of the temple. They were dressed in clean, shining linen and wore golden bands tied around their chests. 7 Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the anger of God, who lives forever and ever. 8 The temple was filled with smoke from the glory and the power of God, and no one could enter the temple until the seven disasters of the seven angels were finished.

No one can enter the temple until the seven disasters of the seven angels is finished. There will still be a little while to wait for us. We will learn about the seven angels and their seven bowls of God’s anger in chapter 16.

Sorry there wasn’t much insight into this chapter, but I am sure it is none the less important in all of God’s Word.

Prayer: Father God, I thank You that You will have a final judgment some day and we will get to enter into Your holy place. Continue the good work you have started in each one of us and bring us into what You have planned for us to be, true children of God. We look forward to that day when we can look face to face with our Creator. That day when we will be given a harp to sing praises to You Lord with a new voice and a new body. We love You Father God. Thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ making all of this even possible for us. Amen.

In God’s Love,
