In this very trying time we must start talking the talk and walking the walk with Jesus, W.D.J.D.-What Did Jesus Do;then just do it. God has taken His hand from our finanaces, he has patiently watched as He blessed us with great abundance until we decided to make money our God. God is a jalous God and will not allow other Gods to consume us. we have made idols of our money and our things. I know full well, I have been there, done that. Time has arrived for us as Chritians to listen and heed Gods infalliable Word, help the poor, take everything into the storehouse and redistribute it according to the need, Not one Christian or follower of Christ should go for wanting, be hungry, need a home or a safe place to live, need money to pay the essential bills, have heat or gas for their car. I know that God is disgusted with us and our idolotary, Churches must heed Gods mandates, stop hoarding, stop buying big houses, cars, airplanes, taking lavish trips, start giving back.
God is delaing with us all, convicting us of our sin, our flesh, our hoarding and our selfishness. Nothing happens without God knowing it, nothing happens without God allowing it, God is God, all knowing and all powerful, He knows what we are and what we are about, He is delaing with us now, will we listen, heed His Word, heed His wake up call or will we just do business as usual, stay aloof and not care about our brethern, our fellow Christians and just do our own thing?
God has been dealing with my wife and I in this area, everything we had is gone in the material world, God has redirected our focus to Him, not things, status, homes and things. God has plainly told us through allowing our circumstances to chnge radically, stp being so selfis, sel centered, full of pride and ego, stop being an island unto yourself, start living for Me, with Me, do my will. We mistakenly though we were doing Gods will, not so, we were being very selfish with our stuff, we were asking or telling God what we wanted instea dof asking God what we could do for Him. God will supply all the stuff we need but first He must get our attention by allowing it al to be taken away, our so calle dsecurity blanket that we did not know was so importnat until it all went away. Now it is tme for the Churches to do the same, take eveything you have and give it to the poor and follow me. Do not keep anything, do not hold back on God he knows everything, you will be blessed with far greater rewards in your life then what those things could give you. Bless others today, what can I do for you today God, then go do it.

Gordor, welcome to Christian Blog (CB). It appears that this is your first blog and, if I say so myself, it is a very good one to start with . Jesus warns us in Matthew 6:24 that we can't serve two masters. The two masters he made refererence to were, "God and mammon (or money)." You made a great reference to how the early church operated when you said, "Not one Christian or follower of Christ should go for wanting, be hungry, need a home or a safe place to live, need money to pay the essential bills, have heat or gas for their car." I am praying that the body of Christ unites (especially in the U.S.A.) and helps each other through these trying times.

Again, welcome to the CB community. It is a very good one, the best I've found online to date.
