Meet Immanuel
I am a 20 year old preacher of the gospel, choosen by The Only Wise God to speak out against divisions within the Church of Christ (among other injustices of this world, which we face on a daily basis). Booker T. Washington was famous for many works, among them he was known for his leadership role in the Atlanta Compromise. He had a theory that "go slow" integration, and sacrificing basic freedoms would be the route which would eventually lead to true liberty. Ladies and gentlemen, I am no Booker T Washington and I am not compromising. The struggle which we all face today has advanced across racial lines and has lead to oppression of individuals from a vast range of cultures and creeds. If the Church is to become the entity which it is called to be we must first put an end to this era of division. Jesus stated repetitively, if there is a kingdom divided against itself, that kingdom will not stand. Heed the sayings of the master. Meet Immanuel.
