Daniels Trust

Dan.1. 12: declining the food of the King
"Please test your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink.

Daniel had faith in GOD that he would, take care of them, and GOD allowed the vegetables and the water to be extra nurturing for them in order to not be equally healthy, but even more healthy than the servants who eat the food of the king.
Daniel trusted GOD in advance that GOD would take care of them, he trusted his own belief in GOD and Believed that GOD would take care of them, Daniel depended blindly on GOD, which is why GOD stuck by him. Daniel disapproved with danger, the food of the mightiest ruler in that time, and Trusted GOD in advance. this is how faith and trust in one's Relegion should be.

Dan.2 Interpreting King Neduchadnezzar's Dream.
16 At this, Daniel went in to the king and asked for time, so that he might interpret the dream for him.

Daniel went face-to-face with king Nebuchadnezzar, did not fear, did not doubt, but merely asked for time and ensured the king that he would interpret his dream. Daniel did this again on pure faith in GOD and in GOD's almightiness and power. The reason why he asked for time was to go and pray with his friends, for he knew that, when they pleaded to GOD for this mystery that he would reveal it. Also Daniel remained calm when he heard about the execution of the wise men of Babylon, his faith and believe in GOD allowed him to remain calm, and not panic. And ensured him that no matter what the outcome would be for him, that he would be fine, for he has the almighty GOD himself on his side.

Dan.3
16 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king.

Shadrach, Mesach and Abdenego did not reply a single word of protection or defensiveness to the king. They believed that GOD would defend them if not now then he will when they are thrown into the furnace. And just like Daniel they trusted GOD and had faith that he would save and protect them before GOD told them, yet their own believe in GOD made them feel calm, and unworried for the almighty GOD himself is besides them.
God defended them and GOD rescued them, HE saw that their believe, their faith and their trust in HIM was honest, clean and righteous.

29 Therefore I decree that the people of any nation or language who say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego be cut into pieces and their houses be turned into piles of rubble, for no other god can save in this way."

Through their trust and their faith in GOD Shadrach, Mesach and Abdenego made king Nebuchadnezzar respect their GOD. The king who made his decision with fury and anger, which means he must have loathed them, stepped down his word because GOD rewarded Shadrach, Mesach and Abdenego for their trust in HIM.

Dan.6
4 At this, the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent.

10 Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.

These two verses show that the devil was aiming for Daniels downfall. Daniel was aware of this, yet he did not perform any counter actions, he returned home and prayed, what he did always, he continued his daily life with no worries, he left the window open and people could see him. In this situation Daniel shows his faith in GOD by continuing his daily life and having faith that GOD would protect him, Daniel trusted GOD that much that he continued praying with the open windows where people could see him, while he knew that they probably will tell the king about this and that he would be thrown in the lion's den. Daniel did not fear the punishment he would get, even if it meant his death. He had faith in GOD and trusted him, he did not hide his believe in GOD and denied praying for any other than HIM.

Daniel's faith and believe in GOD is a perfect example for Christians today to trust GOD.
His story shows that trusting in GOD and having blind faith in GOD is the basis of one's faith.
When facing difficult situations people mostly get blinded and overwhelmed by the situation that they forget that there is no need for panic, there is no need for stress and there is no need for fear.
GOD will never leave his child alone when the child surrenders in full faith and trust to GOD, GOD will take care of things, just like a father would do for his child.
When facing a tough situation the first thing that should come into our minds is that we have a heavenly FATHER who is always watching us and always monitoring us, thus when we fall in these situations we have to rely and trust in GOD for he and only he can change the situation we are in.
Getting angry, stressed or being panicked will not resolve anything, for human emotions such as these never bring anything to a good outcome.
We have to take example from Daniel he trusted GOD with his life and in every situation he was in he never lost faith, he was certain of his own belief in GOD and he was certain that GOD would never abandon him, this counts not only for Daniel but also for Shadrach, Mesach and Abdenego who knew that they were facing being dropped in the furnace and being burned alive, yet they themselves did not take any defensive actions or such, instead they relied on GOD had faith in him and they trusted him.
Their faith in GOD must have been to an extreme level, for they had faith that they would be saved from a burning furnace.
Because of their faith GOD saved them, and their trust in GOD even made king Nebuchadnezzar step down from his word and pay respect to GOD.
Just like when Daniel, Shadrach, Mesach and Abdenego did not eat of the kings royal food, but only ate vegetables and drunk water, normally this should not be more nutritional than the royal food , yet GOD made them not just as healthy as the other servants but healthier, this proofs that when trusting in GOD, GOD will not only solve the problem or the situation you are in but also bring you something more.
GOD is good and all the actions he takes are righteous.
We need to trust him, for he alone is trustworthy, we need to trust his word, for his word says it all, in his word lies the key to eternal life.
No matter who it is we come across, how powerful that person may be and how tough the situation is, We have to keep faith, trust and let ourselves be led by faith in GOD.
For only then we can call ourselves children of GOD.

GOD Bless You All
