messianic Dance

Hi I am a messianic dance Leader for a small congregation in New England. I love to dance and I wanted to know if anyone out there participates in any kind of Dance. Messianic dance is huge if you're messianic, but i understand it is not really known if at all welcomed in some churches. I have choreographed a lot of songs and I find that I am very blessed to praise G-d in this form. Our dance attyre is long white skirts and long sleeve white shirts, usually with a coverall over them so that just the sleeves show. We minister at different churches when invited and usually after danceing many people come up to me crying telling me how much it ministered to them. They tell me they dance in their own LR when no on else is around and how freeing they feel and how much they feel they are really worshiping G-d, With thier whole being. I know some ...many can't dance because of disabilites out of thier control, but I want to remind you that you will dance when you see the Father, You many dance in your heart now, but you will dance when you see the Father. G-d knows your heart and He sees you. I hope in whatever way you worship G-d...even if it's not dance that you will be blessed knowing you are blessing your G-d and breaking strongholds in the heavenly realms, just by uttering praise. Sing praises to G-d, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, Sing praises! psalm 47:6

Well if your pastor allows it, ask him if he would mind if you started dancing, even if it was in the back. You probably remember some of the steps. One of the simplest is the grape-vine and depending on how fast or slow one goes, one can apply it to so many songs, even if they are not messianic like what Joel chernoff or Paul wilbur sing. Stepping into the middle with hands raised and then stepping back is what we call the cherkazia and we use it as a filler in betwee grape vine steps. Even if your pastor didn't allow it, you can always dance alone in your own LR or with some close friends. It is soooo uplifting and such a wonderful form of praise and it's actually like spiritual warfair. Many churches are open to it now and you can ask G-d to help you get started.
Hey it's also great exercise. I hope you will be able toDance again. G-d bless!

I want to remind all or any of the readers who will read this to pray, pray, pray!! Don't get tired of praying. G-d is soooo good and He is listening to all your hearts desires, all your heartaches, all your saddnesses and worries> He loves you and He eagerly desires for each of us His people to come to Him on our knees and seek Him. Just give Him an hour a day at least. He is so worthy of our time..He gives us life and time, why not tithe back to him jsut 10 percent of 24 hours. Do one hour of prayer and a 1/2 hour of praise and an hour of giving or helpin others. That sums up what G-d tells us to do: love hte L-rd your G-d with all your heart, all your soul and all your strengh and love your neighbor as yourself. You will see changes in your home, your friends and your families, your jobs, your worries will flee, because you will know you are putting those cares upon the Most High G-d. Remember, praying is anytime: Paul says, "Pray without ceasing!!" in your car, turn off the music! Pray, when we are waiting in line, when we are in bed at night and it is quiet and we can'tsleep, take the time to pray. G-d is waiting and His ears are open. He waits, asking, " What are your fears?" What would you like me to do or what needs to be changed in your life. Know G-d's peace and shalom in and through prayer. Happy Praying! :-)

That is tremendous Johana. I read more in the Bible about Dance than I singing, clapping, or playing musical instruments. God loves the dance I believe. I am not sure where you are in New England, but I am there also. I have sought in vain for communities to join with.
Thank you for your post.

Sincerely in Yahushua,
Nathan Lambshead
