John Stone's Blog
My name is John Anthony Stone. I was born on October 12the, 1981, on the restroom floor of our home in Canoga Park. People in good humor jokingly say that I was named after the room in which I was born. I have two brothers, one older and the other younger. My father worked as a reserve police officer for the Santa Monica Police Department on the weekends, taught Business Ethics at California Lutheran University, and met my mother where they both worked at Teledyne Corporation. We moved to Moorpark, California when I was two years old and I live here to this day. I attended a private Christian school but left to homeschool after a perverse incident was enacted upon me. I then went to High School at First Baptist Academy in Thousand Oaks, California where I graduated next to Valedictorian.
Because of the terrible experiences I had with dictatorial individuals within the Christian community I was involved in at the time, I became involved in Satanism and the works of Aleister Crowley. After heavy drinking, drug use, and sexual encounters, I wanted more out of life. It was in 2002 that I found what I was searching for.
In November of 2002 I developed a permanent illness in my pancreas. That same month I came down with a life threatening fever. I prayed to Jesus Christ, renounced my ways and dedicated myself to Him completely. As I prayed, I felt an overwhelming sense of love, acceptance, comfort, and a sense that through Christ and my newfound relationship with God, I was going to be alright. The fever subsided the next morning. Unfortunately, due to my pancreatic illness, I do have to take pain medications. But with my Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior, I live for Him. I will not lie, I am human and I do sin, but thanks to Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us, so that we may find forgiveness from God through Christ Himself, I know that when the day of judgment comes, I will definitely be kneeling at His feet and rejoicing.
