Bible study with me
Welcome to a light Bible study on the book of Psalms. I have written this study for some women's groups for the summer of 2007 and set up this blog to post some suggestions, comments and answers to some of the questions.
Psalms is a wonderful book, giving expression to our emotions and showing us how to pray honestly. We can pray the Psalms when we don't know how to pray. We can sing the Psalms when we want to praise our glorious God.
If you do not already have the study, it is available by e-mail as an attachment in sections. Post your request and your e-mail address.
The first two learning activities are easy. If you have trouble with Learning Activity 3 about who your enemy is, remember that every Christian's enemy is Satan, who lies to us, deceives us and accuses us of past sins, whcih God has forgiven and forgotten.
If you feel guilty over a sin, it is either God the Holy Spirit convicting you; in which case you confess it and receive God's forgiveness, as 1 John 1:9 tells us; or it is Satan trying to make you miserable, do refuse to listen to him.
