I think the lesson I have learned from last week is that there needs to be a lot more prayer BEFORE the prayer meeting! Lets join together in believing that you will be there - boots and all, for the whole prayer meeting!

Kb, I believe that is a good strategy.. we start praying NOW BEFORE the meeting and the Lord will answer our prayer for all to stay including Shani and all from offshore the USA . Yes! IN the Name of JESUS We bind the forces that prevent us from getting all-Prayer Meeting long access to CB Prayer Room and we kick the powers that want to kick us, out from that Prayer Room this Friday/Saturday and we plead the Blood of Jesus to cover all who will be joining and also John and CB, that all will function to the glory of God. God's people that pray together will stay together and fight off the enemies of fear, disease, sickness, depression, discouragement, financial , relationship , unemployment, children and church problems in the mighty Name of Jesus. No weapons that are formed can stand against the army of the Lord of hosts. We have the victory in Christ Jesus for He is leading the charge! Praise the Lord.

Now, there is no way I am believing that you are going to be practically speechless two weeks in a row! Start praying now that everything that John has given us flows well. The challenges of last week will not deter us!

Wahoo! A second chance! I *ahem*, just a little bit, forgot about it... No really! I was all ready to join in the fun but I started watching a movie at 7PM and was going to stop it once it was 7:30 except I, well, forgot.

Tearfully,
Diva

Hmmm. May be sticking a notice next to the fridge (tr. refrigerator) or jug (tr. kettle?) might help. On the other hand may be I should just ask God to give you a great big prod at about 7.15pm!

See you there with boots on

Kbird, I qualified my attending last Friday, by what family were doing at 5:30 p.m. (I hope I'm calculating Pacific Standard time correctly?). Sure enough, we were busy with company, etc. and it was nearly 10:00 p.m. before I was able to add my voice/echo to Him. Having more notice this week (I only saw the previous announcement that morning), I can make my excuses to family, and get myself in on this blessed, and blessing, event. Our Father is in process of answering a prayer begun a couple of years ago, so I know the extreme importance of warfare praying, and am thrilled and excited about going global with it:. Bless all of you, especially ptl for alerting me to this 2nd one, and John and team for continuing to iron out the interference the adversary is continually throwing at us... which reminds me, I haven't armored up yet...see you later, Possum PrayerWarrior

Hey Possum!

5.30pm sounds correct to me! I look forward to seeing you as we get to watch the glory of God unfold. John has been believing for this time for many years too, so all those prayers are coming to fruition. Praise God!

Father, I thank you for the opportunity that you have given us to join together in prayer.

I want to ask Lord that you deal with any technical issues that arise. Support John as he does so much to make this place run smoothly and well. With my brothers and sisters I stand against the enemy as he tries to destroy your works and I thank you and praise you that you have the victory and the glory is yours.

I ask Lord that you prompt every person you want to be at the meeting. Guide us Lord in the direction that you want this time to go. Lord, this is a time for praise and worship but it is also a time when we can pray for the needs of our brothers and sisters. I ask Lord that you reveal yourself so clearly to any who come and need prayer. We are all here by your grace Lord and I thank you and praise you for all that you have done in our lives thus far. Amen

Having had time to reflect, pray and consult in relation to the prayer meeting we now have a basic *order* in which things will run.

1. Scripture relating to praise

2. Free praise and worship

3. Scripture relating to prayer and intercession

4. Free prayer time interspersed with directed prayer (from prayer requests, known needs). Given that some people may be a little shy about coming forward when needing prayer I will ask at different times if there are people needing prayer. I suggest that we focus all of our attention on one person at a time if there is a multiple response. I don't necessarily want to lead the prayers off but can just suggest *Prayer for ... ...* and then we can get into it from there.

I think that is about it. I'm off into the highways and byways to invite people to the feast.

Please start praying now, so we are armed and ready.

Blessings

Yes kbird, joining you in prayer and inviting many people to the feast. Expecting the glory of God to grace the occasion for He is the VVIP!
Thank you, I like your "order". (I Corinthians 14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order) while we let Him have free flow.. Praise the Lord! Praise Him for you.

So sorry KB, but for the second week running I won't be able to make the prayer meeting, as my niece who is a missionary in Nairobi - and is home in NZ on furlough, has just wended her way down to Wellington, and is visiting me tomorrow.

So you see I will not be able to be on my 'puter, there with all my CB friends, but will be in spirit.

Bye 4 now and much christian love... ... ..mumbly x x

Mumbly, my friend... much as we would love to have you with us in person, to have you with us in spirit will be wonderful! May the visit of your niece be a true blessing to both of you.

Please pray for marriedtomarriage during CB Prayer meeting as he goes for heart operation on Feb 16.

On Tuesday Feb. 16 I will undergo open heart surgery to replace a defective aortic valve. This is the valve that allows oxygenated blood out to the rest of your body. Including the brain. Sure these types of surgeries are done daily with a 99% success rate. It's that 1% that gets you. Literally. As we approach this I have had to consider things that quite simply put are sobering. I love this woman with all that I am and I know she feels them same for me. If the worst were to happen I would be okay(obviously) The thought of her suffering and having to deal with planning and such is sickening. So, this Valentine's Day I will emphasize my love for her with flowers, chocolates and a fancy dinner. I will look in her eyes and I will tell I love her. God bless you all.

Answer to Prayer made during the Global Prayer Meeting!

I heard from my daughter this evening that Toni, the young woman with the ruptured ovarian cyst has gone from a pain level of 10 out of 10 without morphine, then 8 out of 10 with morphine to NO PAIN AT ALL and instead of being in hospital for a possible three days (as of today) she may be going home tomorrow! We have been thanked for our prayers. All glory to God! Hallalujah!
