My husband is in a lot of pain. It started a short time back. He made a couple trips to the doctor, but they found nothing. It kept happening. Then one day it popped out. He went to the doctor and he has a hernia.

The doctor set up an appointment to see a surgeon in two weeks. Over the weekend the pain became worse. He called Monday and they found another surgeon that could see him Wednesday.

The surgeon said that when a hernia becomes problematic then repair is the only answer. We will have a surgery date by next Wednesday, August 2. Please be in prayer as the simplest movement and he says it attacks him.

It will be out patient surgery. Our daughter will take a day of work and drive us to and from the hospital. For those that do not know, my husband will be 70 in November. His name is Charlie. Even minor things such as this are more serious at our age.
