Where have all my sins gone? Where are my hurts?

This is a picture of a recent cross-stitch lap quilt. It was a stamped item. There are 49 colors in the quilt called Kitty Climbers. On the chart I worked from, each color has a symbol to represent it.

Well working on a couple of the kitties, I would find I had somehow messed up my stitching. With two of the cats, I had to do the best I could to make the mistake blend in. I could not figure out what I had done wrong.

When the top was finished, I stepped back and took a look. I even had my husband look. He could not tell which two cats I had messed up. I knew which two but could not find the spot or area.

This made me think of what it will be like when we get to heaven and see Jesus. We will see the total of our lives spread out in one long picture. Our sins, our hurts, tears, pain, and troubles will be blended into our lives through the blood of Christ so completely that we will not be able to see them.

Great quilt. Quite a talent you have there.

Yes, our Lord Jesus Christ will have taken all of those away. What a Saviour. Thanks for your blog. God Bless you.

Thank you. It is only by the grace of our LORD that I can still do this kind of craft with the RA so bad in my hands.

Amen! Sometimes it is overwhelming to think about all of the ways I have "messed up", but thank Jesus for His sacrifice!
I love the quilt, great job!

What a beautiful thought. "When we get to Heaven and see Jesus..." I like that.

Your blog brings to mind that old hymn: "What can wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus..."

And, too, that is an adorable quilt. It is a testament to you in overcoming your arthritis to continue sewing. I know it must be difficult at times. God bless.
