Isaiah 49 I will never forget you....

Based on Isaiah 49:14-16.

I will never forget you my people.
I have carved you in the palm of my hand.
I will never forget you.
I will not leave you orphaned.
I will never forget my own.
Does a mother forget her baby,
Or a woman the child within her womb?
Yet, even if these forget,
Yes, even if these forget
I will never forget my own.
~~~~~~~~
I sang this song many times growing up. It comforted me then. It gives me comfort now.
My mother forgot 'her' baby; she forgot the child within her womb. After having my own children, I couldn't understand how a woman could completely shut out the very flesh and blood she carried for 9 months, that knew her voice, and she, the baby's every movement. Yet I knew that my Father never forgot me.
Right now, I'm not feeling good enough, for just about anything in my life, let alone for Him. Yet, even in my lowest of times, He remembers me. He created me. While I have made mistakes, my birth was NOT a mistake. He has a plan for each of us.
While I don't feel 'worthy' of being a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend ... .He did not create junk. None of us are worthy of Him. It's through His Grace, His Love, that we are with Him, will be with Him.
