We Are Destroyed For Lack of Knowledge
Once and for all, in this the last days, return to the Truth and to the doctrine of the chosen apostles.
Over and over again we hear people ask, "Where is God", or "Why are we not seeing the Power of God", or "Why does God not heal people", or "Why do we not see change in those who are saved?"
The answer to these and all other questions which deny the Power of God and His presence in our lives is the same .
Unbelief, lack of knowledge, erroneous doctrine, lack of faith, desires of the heart.
Moments before Jesus ascended to His Father He commanded His apostles not to depart from Jerusalem but to wait for the Promise of the Father, "which" He said, "you have heard from Me; For John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now." Jesus continued to tell them, "You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." (Acts 1:4-8)
Most have strayed from the truth spoken in these words and have taught an erroneous doctrine saying this baptism is salvation. This is a terrible untruth.
Why would Jesus be talking about being saved (born-again) when they were born again 40 days earlier?
John 20:20 - 22 (NKJV) When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you." And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. "
The moment Jesus breathed on them they were saved (born-again). Do not let men deprive you of the power God is wanting to endow you with.
God will never give you anything you don't believe is real or true. Cleanse your mind of all you have learned, get on your knees before God and confess your unbelief, and ask Him for His Truth. Ask Him to reveal the truth in these Scripture to you. And when He has opened your eyes, ask Him for His baptism in the Holy Spirit.
Luke 11:13 (NKJV) If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!"
My friends, those who speak against a second baptism in the Holy Spirit and against tongues refer to:
Acts 2:4 - 6 (NKJV) 4And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. 6And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language.
Now I ask you to take a close look at the Scripture. There are three miracles here. The first one being 120 believers being baptize in the Holy Spirit, the second being all 120 believers speaking in other tongues, the third being everyone hearing them in their own language.
Think about it! One hundred and twenty people speaking at the same time in other tongues. Every one hearing them in their own language!
There had to be a miracle in hearing.
Think about it! One hundred and twenty people speaking at the same time in other tongues. If they had all been speaking a different spoken language at the same time there would have been total confusion no one understanding a word they were saying. Yet, each person heard them speak in their own language in which they were born.
Seek God with all you heart, mind, and power. Seek the truth by allowing the Holy Spirit, who is Truth, teach you all things. Return to the doctrine of the apostles and you will see what God will do.
