being a kingdom believer

i have come to see that as a christian believer the institutional church neither (in itself) saves or sustains the emerging believer- only the Gospel of the Kingdom does.(Matthew 24:14) By this I mean anyone who truly believes that God loves them in Christ to forgive their sins and transform them from within experiences true growth. It is the power of agape love and not the love of power that saves. We need to urgently stop building our kingdoms and start partnering God in building His. All based on the Greatest Commandment.when the world sees grace -based and love -based communities emerging and flourishing in the spirit of 1 John then we will see a mighty end - time harvest. Reading the Song of Solomon as backed up by Matthew 5 -6 and John 13 -16 confirms how I feel.Does anybody else and particular longstanding Christians feel the same way I do?

I totally agree with you, Brother. In our world of affluence and material gain - I see many Christians (I have been guilty of it myself) slowely ebbing away from "partnering with God in building His" church. Many parents I know actually leave the spiritual responsibility to the church and have little accountablility in their own homes. I think you are trying to say that if we will just have more power in our personal relationship with Jesus, the church will build faster and more effectively - the church meaning Christ's bride. I really agree and it will take a committment and sacrifice like that on a huge scale to have revival. I believe it will happen - unfortunately I believe it will be under persecution. Look at China and parts of Africa - WOW. There it is - happening before our very eyes, and that is just what you are talking about (if I am understanding you correctly).

Amen - Brother - you are right on.
