those missed shots in life

In life, I have made so many missed shots. There are many situations that I look back on and wish that I had made better choices. There are areas in my life that I know because of the decisions that I made, I am still facing the consquences. Over the past month, I have reflected on the areas in my life that I would like to change and how I can allow God to help me in stepping out of the wilderness and into the fullness of what He has planned for me. As I stated earlier, I know I have missed many shots in life, but I am now attempting to rebound some of those missed shots. I know God isn't done with me and I know He isn't done with you. I know this because we are sill here. If He had nothing else for us, then we wouldn't be here now. If you are reading this and can identify with missing shots in your life and you are at a point of spiritual, personal, or even financial frustration, then I would like to encourage you. God still has plans for you. You are still here arn't you? He isn't threw with you yet. We just need to get out there and grab the rebound. It is not too late! if it was, then we would be dead. I would like to encourage all who read this to stand up, shake off that rejection, and allow God to stir you up and promote you to the position that He has planned for your life. Be blessed

In His service,
Matt

Great encouragement Matt. I think I should be God's basketball star then cause I too experienced small and large rebounds (LOL!!!). Isn't it wonderful that He forgives and loves us so much. Check my Blog on God Knows Who's Who. Bless you and yours as we remain in His service, David.

Matt... ... ... ... ... very well said. Someone said "Never look back" and whoever that was may have been giving great advise. The Lord said "I will remember it no more" nor should we. Failure and missed shots may well have been pre-ordained... . hence the caution "be careful what you ask for." All mis- steps are a very important ( and necessary) parts of the learning process. God has rebounded every missed opportunity and is just posting us for our next confident drive.

Too short to play, and not to big to fail, milt
