So um... yeah... haven't been on here in quite a while. Not very responsible.
Finals week is almost here, so I'm stressing out. I spent 6 hours in the library today and somehow forgot about the world outside of my paper... even essential needs for survival. Unfortunately I still have 4 pages left to write.
So earlier this week I had a vision after discussing my idea for my final project in journalism with my teacher. I'm doing it over how Christian music has become rapidly more popular than other music.
But I just saw myself working on making a Christian rock radio station in Lawrence. That's about all there is to the vision. No how to get it to happen, no where the money came from, no who else was running it. So I'm wondering if this is what I'm supposed to do with journalism since I don't know for sure what facet of journalism I'm going to go into. But I have no idea how to get a station started, so that one may be on ice for a while.
It's time to introduce some more Christian hip-hop. Straight outta St. Louis, Flame preaches the gospel with his own brand of Midwest rhymes. He's got 2 albums out "Flame" and "Rewind" both are great CDs. One of my favorite songs is on Rewind called "War of the Minds". It deals with depression and God's plan for people with that problem and other emotional/mental illnesses. He's definitely worth a listen.

Rawk,
If God told us how it was all going to work all at once, it would scare us to death! Be patient and let the Lord work out the details!
Here is a Bit of Flame:
FLAME displays his talent for doing what many Christian Hip Hop artists cannot seem to pull off: rapping to tracks outside of his signature style without becoming the trendy, flavor-of-the-week lyricist. Evidence of this is clearly shown in "No Silence" featuring Lecrae. The song is a heavy, Dirty South dance floor hit laced with 100% of Lecrae's flavor, yet FLAME holds his own while maintaining his Midwest style of rhyming. Cutting edge sound, superior artistry, authentic Hip Hop beats, mesmerizing hooks and uncompromising lyrics are still the standard as FLAME continues to burn brightly.

Why is talking about myself always a challenge? Let's see... I've grown a lot in Christ in the past few years since I was saved. However I take steps backwards at times too like everyone else. Sometimes I take more steps backward then forward at times.
I now live in...
