Not sure where this fits!

I spent the day today, reading about the Muslim religion. And I have to say it is very convincing!

Mahummod believes he heard from God himself and God revealed all his secrets to him. You know I don't doubt that for a secound. I believe Mohammed was a very observant man, and in tune with the Holy Spirit. Mohammod was a good man, who loved God with all his heart and soul!

Muslims today have taken his findings to another level-and created the qu`ran. They have converted Mohammods inspiration to Religion. Same as Christians, taken mans inspiration into religion.
This is why we have so many denominations out there, because for some reason we can't all agree, yet we are one in the body of Christ! Go figure!

I believe Man twist religion to suit his or her own needs!

Who are we (mere humans) to think we are any beter than Jesus, Moses, Mohammod when we ourselves don't allow the Holy Spirit to lead us. I think religion is out! There is no need for religion! It is the biggest demonic force at work against believers out there and we live in it. It was the bible Satan used against Jesus in the wilderness, It was Religion that crucified Jesus, It is Religion that creates war. Forget religion.

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."

Now if this is what we are up against, don't we need some type of Spirit. We need to stop being religous and be Spirit filled. We need to relie on the Holy Spirit to give us devine revelation on these matters.

Most people forget about the Holy Spirit and only focus on God and Jesus. Yet Jesus clearly says to his deciples "I will send you a helper" before he went to the cross! It is the Holy Spirit that will teach us and guide us. That's why it is important to be Spirit filled. Not religion Not Christianity Not Muslim Not Jews the Holy Spirit!

Not sure how this sits, and I can imagine it will cause a lot of commotion, but I welcome your comments!

you are right... we do need to be Holy Spirit filled and Holy spirit lead... we need to be able to prove the difference with the biblical evidence of signs, wonders and miracles following!

I actually can see where you're coming from.

I love how you identified the need of the Holy Spirit. I could not go a single day with out His guidance. When I taught my girls the trinity I was trying so hard to explain the work of the Spirit but the beautiful thing was that I didn't need to explain Him because He came and showed himself when one of my girls said... so He is the one who is helping me understand that I have one God with three persons. I LOVED that!!! Enjoyed this. Thanks for writing.

Please do not say that Mohammed was in tune with the Holy Spirit... he did not even believe in a Triune God.
A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. It misleads those who have little knowledge and accept it as gospel truth.

It pains me to hear a follow Christian say that. God sent his son to be sacrificed. Jesus willing gave up his live as a sacrifice. God did this out of love for us; please don't take that credit from him. [bible]John 3:16[/bible]

This isn't very easy to understand, but they are all the very same. The Holy Spirit is God's spirit sent to us. Jesus is God's son and Jesus is God. Think of a clover;it has three leaves but is still one thing. That's the best I can explain. Realize that there are more spirit's than God's. Many are from Satan.

Please read about your God and seek his face.

I don't say these things to condemn you, I say them out of pure love. I want you to know the truth, and how can there be more than one? I hope my words fall away and you hear God's. God bless.

Dear sister sbloggerh, I admire your gentleness of spirit and willingness to explore, but I would encourage to measure what you read against God's word.

I have no doubt that Mahummod heard from a spirit but I doubt that it is the Holy Spirit because Islam denies the deity of Christ. They say that he never rose from the grave, and whatever he heard told him to reject the Holy Spirit and the Trinity. Mahummod taught that men were judged by two angels one recording a man's good deeds and the other his bad deeds. He said that when a man dies if his good deed outweigh his bad ones he goes to heaven and if it is the other way around he goes to hell. Mahummod taught a religion of works and denies grace and forgiveness. Mahummod claims that he is God's last prophet and that the only way is to follow him. I can go on and on, but Islam denies all the central things that the Bible teaches us and worse it denies Christ.

Please be careful, all the world's religions appear to teach the same moral teachings but being a Christian is not about how good we are but how good God is and how He sent His Son to die for us. I also sense a great deal of anger about denominations, I used to be that way but God has softened my heart. He reminds us to focus on those things that unite us and not on those things we disagree about as long as we believe in the most important things about what being a Christian is about. Be at peace sister.

Mercy and Grace! I AM is I AM. He is to be feared, exalted, loved above all.

My point, I AM will never change no matter what spin people put on it.
