The Bubble Syndrome. The Church at Laodicia!
The Lord is ready to Vomit!!! Sign of the end times!!
Many people are trying to predict the Lord's return by using most of the book of Revelation and Daniel etc... .However, they have overlooked the most important of messages from the Lord concerning His return. The seven churches of Asia!! Everyone starts immediately into the symbolisms past the issues of the seven churches and totally ignore the beginning of the bood of Revelation. There is a reason why the Lord wanted the issues of the 7 churches placed at the beginning. It is because it is the spiritual condition of the church that will determine the Lords return. Not the condition of the world. The condition of the world has always been the pits! It is time for us to open our eyes and look at ourselves as individual Christians and as a whole in the church. It is my observation as a Pastor since 1977 that the church has slowly been moving down the slope of decay. When you study the 7 churches you will notice that each following church is worse than the previous church. Illustrating that the church is slowly moving away from what God has wanted the church to be. God is allowing us to see through time what the church will become and when He will return. I believe that we are at the stage of the church of Laodicia. It is the worse church of the seven. In fact the Lord said that the church of Laodicia made Him so ill that he "VOMITED" them out of His mouth!. No your translation is wrong... it is NOT "spit", it is translated "VOMIT". The church makes the Lord so ill when He views it that He gets sick to His stomach and upchucks everything... ..the sign of total rejection from the Lord. Lets take a look shall we?
1. The church at Laodicia was neither HOT nor COLD! But because they tried to be on the middle fence... .not HOT or COLD it made the Lord sick from their luck warm attitudes and spirituality!
a. I see this in churches I visit everywhere. People just pretending to be Christians. Feel insulted yet? Let me open your eyes a bit! Notice in service that most people...not all... but most of them will come in and sit on the pew and not look left or right. Why? Because they do not want anyone to really know them for who they really are on the inisde. They have a barrier up... I call it a BUBBLE... .a force field. To protect them and keep people out. The world has trained us not to trust anyone... .that is why people are having a hard time finding mates or friends in this world. It is affecting... or infecting... Christians in the church. When enough people have a BUBBLE up then no one is going to reach out to another and find out how they are doing for real.
b. No wonder the community that surrounds the church thinks we are a bunch of hypocrites. A hypocrite was a compliment in the days of Rome. It was a actor who stepped out on the stage with a stick mask over his face and played a part. The world believes from this BUBBLE syndrome that our  don't stink. They think that we believe that we are better than they are. What a lousy lie from SATAN!!!! We should have a sign outsid of our church buildings that says, "SINNERS ARE WELCOME HERE!!".
c. I remember as a child when Christians would go before the church and tell their sins and problems and NO ONE condemed them because they were all guilty of the same or different sin. They would surround that person and touch him/her and pray for them. They would call on them through out the week to check to see how they were doing. Not any more. Why? Because we are the church of Laodicia! We are not as Jesus said, "Having gone therefore, preach the gospel... " Instead we are all hiding in our BUBBLES and believing that we are on fire for the Lord by NOT outreaching to the lost. I got news for you... the Lord is throwing up right now and He is on the verge of saying, "ENOUGH! MY BRIDE THE CHURCH IS FILTHY DIRTY AND FEELS NOTHING!!" I believe that we only have a couple of years left to do the Lords will... .outreach to the public... .not argue over dog do do like who is mowing the lawn or who is going to lead this or that... ..Paul said that he only knew Jesus and Him crucified... the rest is garbage. Let's move it people... time is ticking and time is running out.
My wife and I have been praying that the Lord will lead us to the right church that wants to pop all the bubbles in the church and outreach to the community before its too late.
