ChristianBlog.Com Introduces A "Weekly Topic" Feature!
A few weeks ago ChristianBlog.Com had a poll that asked our members what new feature they would like to see the added to the website.
Our members overwhelmingly selected "Weekly Blog Topic" as the feature they would most like to see!
Over 80% of our members voted for this and we have listened to what our members want and are excited to be able to announce this new feature will be starting on November 16, 2007!
Since ChristianBlog.Com was started ChristianBlog.Com has a long history of listening to the suggestions of our members - and this new feature is another example of ChristianBlog.Com continuing to push forward the features of ChristianBlog.Com based upon our members!
However, in the tradition of ChristianBlog.Com adding new features, we have added our own unique twists to make things more interesting! (this is not to say our members suggestions are not interesting, but we wanted to take their idea and add a twist and more features to it!)
What we are planning goes beyond just a simply 'weekly topic' we dig out of a hat somewhere!
Each week there will be a new topic selected from topics we have pre-selected and topics our members suggest to us.
Each week we will allow our members to submit one entry for the Weekly Topic.
Each week our panel of judges will pick a winning submission.
Each week the winner will get website acknowledgement and a cool new icon next to their usersname!
We would like to encourage all of our members to put on their thinking hats, writing hats, and get ready for some fun!
But not just fun... because our weekly topics are going to challenge you! They will (hopefully) cause you to think about the Word of God, your own life, the lives of those around you, and all this good stuff!
Think you cannot write all that well -- not to worry! Our judges may not be looking so much as professional writing as they will be those who really get to the 'heart of the issue' in what they say! Then again, sometimes we might be looking for a perfectly written Blog Entry. It will all depend on the topic, the amount of competition, and the amount of fun the Weekly Topic itself brings!
