Was wondering if there is anyone on here that plays World of Warcraft or has any friends or family that do. I saw a commercial the other day that there are over nine million subscribers now and was floored. I've been playing off and on for a little over two years now. A long time friend introduced me to it and said it was the hot new thing. I was a little skeptical since I really wasn't into gaming anymore but checked it out anyway and was hooked right away. Some of my favorite games growing up were Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior and Zelda of course so this game brought me back to the old days but on a much larger scale. From that to being able to interact with so many people and actually talk to them through Ventrilo, Team Speak and now Skype. Anyway, I am sure there are a few of you that have some thoughts on this game! =D

I much prefer Counter Strike Source and here recently Call of Duty 4
Have a few friends who play WoW, but not many. Most of my friends aren't into the why game-play style of WoW.
I do agree that the interaction of games like these is really great, especially if you can get into a server/clan that is Christian!!
Not into the shooters to much but COD 4 does look really good! Do you know of a server or guild on WoW that is Christian? Wouldn't mind hooking up with them. Would definitely make things even more fun! =P
I have 2 sons that i have been praying for a long time to be delivered from that addiction. They are completely taken over by it. They will sit at their computers for 12-16 hours or so aday everyday playing that game. They are in their early and mid 20's. It absolutely consumes them. And they can't see how it controls their lives... I know it doesn't happen to everyone like that, but to many it does. So to answer your question, my thoughts aren't too kindly about it!

Me and my family played WOW togther for about a year. I've played it since beta. We found a Christian guild named Creations of Light, and was with them for quite a while till we moved to the country and only have dial up. That was just after the expansion came out. Stormrage was the server. It is a PVE server. If you look them up, tell them Himmel, Heidie, and Rolderroy says Hi.
