Is The Time Now or Is it a Partial Fulfillment?

Recently @christineingram+ commented on a blog I posted over four years ago. I suggest you read this previous blog if you truly desire to understand what is written here. The blog can be accessed here: The Sixth Day is Ending and The Seventh Day is About to Begin”, posted April 18, 2008.

This blog, and the memory of writing it, had long been removed from me. One week from the time this blog was posted I suffered some serious health issues. This battled continued for most of a year and in truth, over this time, there were many moments I believe I was going to be with my Savior within seconds. Then one morning I awoke feeling well and everything continued to grow better and better with each passing day until I was feeling better than I had in many years. Glory to God!

Over my Christian life it has become abundantly clear how much effect spiritual warfare can have in the physical realm. Even more, how much God can turn around what the devil means for harm into something wonderful and full of glory in all praise to Him.

I appreciate sister Christine for being obedient in bringing this message into focus again. Looking back from today to the time this message was published in April 2008 I find it amazing how steep the spiral of moral decline the world has experienced . . . And especially this country.

The fall of the economy in this country signaled a time of derision.

Is it only me or do others have a clear picture of Ruth Graham's words coming to life in the affairs of this country over the last four years (as revealed by Sister Christine in her recent comment on my blog written in 2008)?

Many blame President Bush for the economic collapse. However, the deceiver is clever, charismatic, and a delicacy of the non-believer.

How many have considered the head of the government committee having oversight of the monetary policy banks are mandated to follow is a practicing homosexual? With this realization does the Word of God reign true in your heart?

The problems were foreseen. Attempts were made to change law. All these attempts to correct what was wrong were overcome by this chairperson and his cohorts in congress. Therefore, economic judgment has come to this country, and the world.

Did the masses heed this warning? No, not only were the masses deceived concerning the cause of the economic collapse, they were drawn into following one who would preside over a rebellion which is destroying the influence Christianity has in the direction of this country.

One who claiming to be a Christian, openly, and in arrogance, declares there are many ways to God and eternal life. Diametrically opposite, Jesus says:
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

Anyone not seeing where this country is heading under the current leadership has been blinded to the truth.

Has the falling away, the spirit of stupor, and strong delusion come upon this country and the church? I pray current conditions are only a warning or a partial fulfillment of prophecy and we return to God who will heal us.

Either way, come November, how Christians in America vote will determine blessings or curses not only for us but for the world.

My prayer is for blessings for all.

In Jesus,
Tch

I too pray about the uppcoming election. I put a lot of responsibility for the mess our country is in upon the press. With an honest unbiased press, government would not be able to get away with the destructive policies of the past 3 three years. bibleguy64

Amen brother . . . the press is far from being objective and unbiased in this generation. Truth has been replaced with misinformation all too often by way too many.

Blessings,
Tch

I believe the future of our nation and our world will be decided in a lot more than how we vote, in any election. Our morals have been in the decline since I was a young boy. That was the 60's. Personally I have seen mostly decline, of them, whoever was elected. We passed liquor to sale. Then we wanted it in our restaurants. Lower the age to buy it. Then we turn for the drugs, and we keep finding more of them to turn to. Immoral sex just keeps getting more, immoral. And we have 'pride' days to celebrate it. Make it legal. Call it a lifestyle. Teach our children how normal they all are, in the public schools, and how we are to respect and accept them all. That started, when? And of which, and whom? PG rated movies have cursing, sex, drugs, killing, and we just crave more, and they deliver, and set records at the box offices. Innocent lives are taken, at the whim of one who wants to entertain themselves, with depravity, and such killings are getting more and more regular, not rarer. Evangelist tell us that people crowing like a rooster and acting like a bird are moved of the Holy Spirit, and they laugh about it. We keep God, and the mention of Jesus Christ, out of public schools, and public places. Yet have marches in those public places for those who want to silence them, and celebrate freedom of any honor to them.

The votes are just a reflection of all the choices we have made, as a nation, and a world. We have turned politics, government, into our idols, and we want these idols to deliver us? That media mentioned assure us they can. Really? They need tearing down, not attempting to fix or building further. They have been turned into idols of corruption, which are only getting more and more corrupt, with time. And they indeed will be. And in that respect, I am getting off the topic of your blog. Sorry. I do hope, and pray, that we turn in repentance, and back to Almighty God, who gave us His Son, Jesus Christ. Before election even. And stop the continual evil, as it was in the days of Noah, and of Lot. His return, is a living hope, that it will be. But the days will get darker before then. In that brother, thank you for your blog.

Yes brother, there has been moral decline since Adam's first sin. In many other places in the world total immorality has been the normal for many years. In America immorality has always existed as well. However, the rate of moral decline continues to accelerates in our homeland with each passing day.

Each of us have responsibility in this however we are limited as to what we can do. Prayer is of utmost importance. Some of us can do more than others dependent upon our callings and our positions in life. However, we have a vote and my position is when a Christian votes it should be God marking that ballot through him/her.

As individuals we will never answer to God for the immorality of the world. As individuals we will answer only for our part in that immorality and our obedience to Him in doing that which He instructs each of us, individually, to do.

What ever we do . . . do it as unto the Lord. We are not of this world but we are in this world and we are called to be good citizens and being a good citizen includes being diligent in casting our vote in accordance with His will.

Blessings,
Tch

My vote for years has been towards the casting down of these two idols. I found a party that has the name of Jesus Christ in their platform. One will have to search these type of candidates on their own, they will not be mentioned in the news, or given opportunity to debate or speak with the others, but they are out there.

Personally I believe that it is more than obvious that these idols will not be turning towards our Lord Jesus Christ, except perhaps a brief mention, at times of opportunity to gain a political advantage, and that is all. Roe vs. Wade has not been overturned, just spoken about with lips of lies, for those political advantages, one example. Their lives, the things they work for and promote, as a whole, are plenty proof of that.

"What ever we do...do it as unto the Lord." Amen. One, in Him.

I've been reading a book called "The Harbinger" aloud to my husband as we have been zooming across the middle of the U.S. It is a very sobering book and has caused us to think about many things that are going on today. God will not be mocked. We need to watch and pray.

Blessings!

  Tch,

I was so glad to come back and see you were posting again. I have the utmost respect for you and your knowledge. Thank you so much for this blog. I think every person of faith has really strong concerns about the future of this country.

I have not read The Harbinger yet, though I will, but I recall the most sick feeling when I read "Epicenter" by Joel Rosenberg where he points out in the beginning of the book that there is no mention of the United States in end time prophecy. Which basically he construed to mean that the US will be a big nothing, of absolutely no account or importance.

Yes, we must all vote. There are all kinds of cliches about "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" and "he who is not against us is with us".

Thank you Sister Grace . . . it is good to see you have returned as well.

I've read every book Joel Rosenberg has written with the exception of "Implosion" which is in line to be read now. I'm looking very forward to getting to it.

Have a wonderful day Sister. I pray God continues to bless you and all your loved ones.

In Jesus,

Tch, I can't remember if I mentioned this to you or not, but I thought of you fondly when my family and I drove from our home in north Georgia to Boone, NC to attend our friend's funeral. It is beautiful in your neck of the mountains!

Thank you Sister Grace. Three of my children live in the Hendersonville area . . . Near Asheville. I reside in the flat lands, near Charlotte.

It blesses my heart learning my sister in Christ thinks of me even away from our medium of fellowship. God often places in my spirit for prayer or intercession people who I know only through fellowship here at CB. God is good and we, as the body of Christ, are one in Him.

Glory to God,
Tch
