Remaining In Fellowship With God Keeps Us Hidden In Jesus!

I write about the message we have received from God through apostle John to present day saints who are living in the time of the Laodicean church. It is important to remember, especially in these times of darkness and deception, the words which John wrote are the Words God spoke directly to him and he wrote them down as he heard them.

Many years later God moved on holy men whom He had chosen and caused them to include John's letter in the Holy Scriptures which we find in our authorized bible today.

Only recently is God revealing this letter is written specifically for the Laodicean church, the most visible church existing at the end of the Church age.

When reading this First Epistle of John one would think it is best suited for the time of the Philadelphian church. John is known as the apostle of love. The Philadelphian church is known as the church of brotherly love. However, although all churches of the Church age have gleaned much from this letter, it is specifically written for today's majority church, the last church of the Church age, the Laodicean church.

John, in this letter to the Laodicean church, uses many contrasting statements. He speaks of light and perfect love and of darkness and sin. Even in his style he proves the new age message of the modern church to be nothing more than deception.

There still exists light and darkness, love and hate, righteousness and unrighteousness, good and evil, holiness and sin. The new age movement of the Laodicean church would have you only mention light, love, righteousness, good, and holiness with never an admonishment for anything of darkness, hatred, unrighteousness, or sin. The model is to preach only things that make people "feel good" about themselves. Their thoughts is any message which encourages self examination to see if one is living rightly before almighty God is judgmental and unloving.

One who closely reads the words of the First Epistle of John will see he speaks clearly of the problems found in this last day church and also of the remedy. John says clearly we are in the last hour and implores the church to live righteously and holy.

John pulls no punches, there being no darkness in anyone who loves and there being no light in anyone who does not love. God is light and anyone who is in God is in light and there is no darkness in him. Anyone who says they have fellowship with God and walks in darkness is a liar.

Yes, John is this bold. John would not be allowed to preach in most assemblies of the Laodicean church of today.

Everyone who walks in the light has fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus cleanses them from all sin. Anyone who says they have no sin deceives themselves. We live in flesh bodies and these flesh bodies are going to find opportunity for sin.

Being in fellowship with God we confess our sins and He is just to forgive us of our sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

This is being in right standing with God and the reason it can be said, "He who is born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him, and he cannot sin because he has been born of God."

Do you see this is speaking of the fellowship we have with God. We are in continuous fellowship with God keeping us in Christ Jesus therefore any fleshly sin committed outside of our will is not imputed to us because we are hidden in Christ Jesus.

The remnant which emerges holy and blameless at the end of the age will be the ones who are in fellowship with God. To remain in fellowship with God one must obey the Word of God. The Holy Scripture tells us clearly those who want to be a friend to the world makes themselves an enemy of God.

Therefore, one must ask themselves, am I a friend of the world (meaning - is my desire for worldly possessions, recognition, power, or position)? If you are a friend of the world you are not in fellowship with God.

Therefore, one must ask themselves, am I sitting under worldly teaching and doctrines. Doctrines of riches, wealth, power, position, worldly favor, or "feel good" gospel. If you are a friend of the world you are not in fellowship with God.

At the end of this current age Jesus will come for His Church. His Church is spotless and blameless. The only way to be spotless and blameless is to be hidden in Jesus. The only way to be hidden in Jesus is to be in fellowship with God.

So I ask, are you a friend of the world or are you in fellowship with God? It cannot be both ways.

This is a question only you and God can answer and there is nothing which is hidden from God.

Being in fellowship with God and hidden in Christ Jesus sets us apart from the world and the things of the flesh because the redeeming blood of Jesus cleanses us. Therefore, there is no sin imputed to us.

Praise you Jesus!

My prayers continue for this last day church that eyes will be opened to see and ears to hear. It is time for sackcloth and ashes, time for repentance and a return to holiness for, as John has told us, we are in the last hour.

Blessings,
Tch

May we be rich towards God in the coming days, so that we can have spiritual authority in our lives and build the Body of Christ for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Truly, I am convinced we are in the last days, as I have witnessed plenty of what Peter quotes from Joel in Acts 2:17 (NIV):
"In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams..." i.e. no one who is 'really,' following after our Lord Jesus Christ, will be exempt from the Spirit of God--today!
Thanks for a blog I can whole-heartedly agree with.

God bless all of you,

Thank you sister for reading this blog and your valuable comment. This one prophecy covers a time span beginning on the Day of Pentecost and ending on the Day of our Lord's return to earth.

God is still pouring out of His Spirit on all who will believe. Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord is being saved. We of the Church Age are the most blessed people who have ever stepped foot on earth . . . only believe!

Thanks again,
Tch

nice blog. i believe in the power of the cross to reverse the devils work that we can be total light and never sin. call me a cockeyed optimist, but I believe the power of Grace and truth can really make us Sons of God. A holy God has no sin, nor will His children that's why I believe all Believers should do an unclean spirit check to make sure the devil has been totally defeated. I recommend saying to our bodys any demonic force or darkness within my body reveal yourself. And say some times to test yourself because I went to church for 9 yrs and never was totally healed of the demonic force that I allowed in my life before GOd revealed Jesus to me.

You ignore Gods commandment that every foreigner be circumcised before taking the Passover/Lord's supper, so you are anti-Christ since He never spoke the Law is done away with.

Thank you Tch for this powerful exhortation. I just returned from a time of prayer and the state of the Laodicea church was on my mind. We are most certainly in that state ... there is neither hot nor cold. The church has come to an earthly thing and lost its supernatural quality.

For this state, God tells us that the only thing is to "buy eyesalve" for that is what we need. May we cry out to truly see (have a revelation of Jesus Christ, His finished work, His victory, and His power in and through those who believe.)

And as a postscript ... the apostate church will be revealed in the times ahead. God will use the darkness to reveal His own.

Blessings,
Barb

Thank you sister for your inspired words.

There are so many watchmen among us today, to the natural eye, it is hard to conceive how error could possibly creep into the church.

We are all to be watchmen over our own spirits and our own families however being a watchman over the church is a special calling and ordination by God.

Self appointed watchmen become so consumed with finding error and spirits of darkness their ability to see what is real and from God becomes non-existent. Over time much that comes from their mouth is ugliness for that is all they search for and all they see. They become blind to That which is real even to the point of placing "impostor" labels on true manifestations of Spiritual gifts.

This is a clever trap devised by the devil. These become so driven in protecting the church in the end, because their flesh is ruling, they cause much destruction and harm to the church and to God's children.

This trap leads these self appointed watchmen into denouncing much that is from God. Only the spirit discerns workings of the Spirit. Their flesh is what is working. Therefore, they throw the good out with the bad. End result . . . the devil wins and many needing God's grace in their lives suffer because these watchmen label any manifestation of a Spiritual gift "phony and from the devil."

It amazes me how they find the devil so powerful and God unable to meet the needs of His people.

And as a postscript ... the apostate church will be revealed in the times ahead. God will use the darkness to reveal His own.

Amen sister, I wish this were not so, however, not my will but His be done.

Blessings,
Tch

Tch, good message. Yes, our victory is IN CHRIST. Because we are in Christ we are also automatically in fellowship with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Thank God for His dispensation of grace!
"2 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:2-10

Thank God for the filling of His Holy Spirit!
"14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,[c] 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:14-19

Our only hope to walk in righteousness and true holiness is to keep crucifying our old man by walking in our new man who is empowered by the Spirit of God. Being in Christ means we have the power to resist the world, the flesh and the devil. A dead man does not yield to temptation.

The Lord Jesus Christ died to pay the penalty for sin in full so that those who believed and put their trust in Him could received the promised Holy Spirit. Light is truth and the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. To walk in the light is to be surrendered and submitted to the Holy Spirit. We are vessels to be filled with the Holy Spirit who is the one performing and fulfilling God's will in us.
It is a shame so many of the churches are on one side preaching a "feel good" message that being religious is enough or on the other extreme preaching a "feel bad" message of condemnation for failure to meet high demands for righteousness and holiness because the only"how to" that makes it possible is being withheld from their message.
I believe that if more churches taught the truth about the ministry of the Holy Spirit who Jesus sent to give us the power to live as He lived, we would see many changed lives.

The only thing we can do without the power of the Holy Spirit is maintain a facade of external religiosity. This facade has no power and will keep us constantly defeated by the devil's tricks and schemes.

Great post. Unfortunately, most sermons are pointed towards worldly success and about feeling good. What will happen when trials and persecutions come to the christian today? Will they be able to hold? We may be children of God, but we should not forget we are warriors in a spiritual battle, we cannot forget there's an enemy around seeking to devour us. Until Christ returns, we should act like soldiers sent out to war.

Until Christ returns, we should act like soldiers sent out to war.

Amen sister. There is much warring going on all around us all the time. Just as Paul has told us, we are at war, even with ourselves . . . the flesh warring against our spirit man and our spirit man warring against our flesh.

I once heard a very wise Pastor say: "the winner of this war between our flesh and our spirit will be the one who is fed the most." There is a reason why Scripture tells us we are saved by grace through faith and the washing of water by the Word cleanses us.

Thank you for coming by and sharing with us.

Blessings,
Tch
