Serving with renewed strength:Sunday Sabbath Service Sermon...!
I went ahead and took some of my grandkids to a sumptious fish food restaurant, who God made affordable with the kids menu! And a trip to Barnes and Nobel, that cost a little more but learning to read well is priceless! And we went to canyon by the mountain and experience God's wonder that was more speachless! And I unsuspectible ran out of money, and energy, and especially the mental one! I was invited to a college basketball game, I don't see how I will fare there with what I have in strength for the rest of this day...!
But we turn to Acts 8:26-32,
["... 26And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
27And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,
28Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.
29Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.
30And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?
31And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.
32The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:..."]
And we spoke about vainity and avoiding self glory, but if the prophets of the Lord some one has to put out the message, while the prophets return to their duty and stop taking breaks! And people need for someone to explain things! I had someone explain something the other day and I just marveled at the wisdom of some freind who contacted me! And this morning another freind made clear the meaning of some blog I supposed to have written and she made everthing clear in the Lord, thank you Anita...
And the point is not to know it all but to share of what ever we have. One dollar- two fify-cent coins, one dime-two nickles, and the fact of the matter is that the Lord is not impressed with amounts but with chartity and freindly giving. We turn to Revelations 2:1-7,
["... 1Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
2I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
3And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
4Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
6But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.
7He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God..."]
Now work comes out of our strentgth and diligenge, and dicernment out of the mind to tell one from the other, but charity come from the heart committed and bonded to Christ! I can ramble and discuss and accuse and point out falsehood presumably and have all knowledge and we know we are dreaming, but real concern and heartfelf prayer for each other is from God. God is love and there nothing like simple sypathy and kindness with courtesy with foregearance and ultimatedly forgiving one another. Ephesians 4:32...
Can avoid but blessing someone who let you in, in a long line of traffic! And God says emphatically that by this will all men know we are his dicipiles if we have a fountain love for each other in our midst, Jesus namely. And this Easter, pray we with me that we renew our vows to God to forgive one another and be patient a little with those who don't undertand us or what we say. God thougth the same about us at one time when we too were with out light in the world or in the heart! For Jesus sake let us forbear each other one extra mile! Perhaps we can learn that "He is not heavy, he is my brother and or sister...!"...
