Sneeking into the study of my brother's house home, I take a moment before sunrise to pray and perhaps ask God for our spiritual and physical bread! And since God has made us poor so we could ask him and be rich in all things!...
And comtemplating Luke 21 in the account of the woman who was a widow and she gave only what she had left two mites! And this pleased God more than any great bounty offering where we give because we have enough!...
And God put us his children in situation where we have to ask and be dependent! And worldly mind wants to be independent! I want to be independent in need and provision! And you may be independent in need and provision!...
And the rich man said I will tear down my barns and build greater ones and say to my soul take it easy and relax and be independent!...
Today is Labor Day in my country and we honor those who work and take a day off labor to cook that steak in the park and play some baseball!...
And that is wonderful if we remember who makes all thing possibe-God! And some may not remember God in any way! But God doesn't take this personally, but is patient and provides for all!...
But on the onset of Thanksgiving Season coming up, we who do know, know God makes all provision for all men and the harvest is a great time to celebrate God and the change of season which is also a provision of God for a change of pace and go into others things, namely thanking God!...
