American Social Greek Organizations

I am 20 years old and a second year college student. Believe it or not, I still do not know everything. With college comes a lot of new and interesting situations. And with those situations comes a lot of new and interesting questions. I was wondering if anyone had any background or opinion on the subject of American College Social Fraternities and Sororities.

How do the Greek organizations fit into a Christian life?

How do they relate to scripture?

Can a Christian be involved in one and fully serve the Lord?

Is the stigma too negative to associate with?

Do you have first hand experience with the topic? Is it positive? Is it negative?

Really I'm interested in just about anything related to the subject.

I'm really eager to read what you have to say, your experiences, your opinions.

After I get a good feel of what the consensus is I will definitely reply with my point of view.

Thanks for reading. May the peace and love of God be with you always.
